Finally got it working after 8 years!

    Worked on 2 or 3 vine cutter prototypes at NCSU back in the late 70’s. 1 had 2 turf tires turned on the horizontal centered on top of the row, 2 modified peanut vine lifting sweeps in front of them punching all the vibes in front of the tires, it was OK, had promise. The best was a set of rubber mower conditioner rolls out if a New Holland Mowco. Set them up running 1.5 inches of the row top with the front run set 2 inches higher they did a excellent job ripping everything on the row out of the ground, occasionally pulled the main root. The best we worked with back then was the Mowco Rollers, tested all 3 of them for 2 or 3 years at the Clinton Field Station. You look like you’ve hot a great model there.
