- This small stall in Surat is one gem of the places loved by all egg lovers. This place serves over 100 types of egg dishes and every now and then they come up with some unique variety of egg. I am from Pakistan and have read several comments. People please undertand that he is making this pizza for those people who like it. Clean or dirty they like it and never die of unhygenic conditions. Several hundreds of millions people are living below poverty level in countries like us eating such food. We have good immunity.

We call street food unhygienic bcoz we can see how it is prepared what about the hotel where we pay 2-3 times the price and cant even ensure this level of hygiene

because even in hotel's we're required to wear gloves and have a certified food license before we're even allowed to touch food served to guests. so yeah, the levels of hygiene are better if you want to draw that comparison.

I have read a lot of comments in indian food videos. They are saying why are those cooks not wearing gloves. I think as long as you keep your hand clean and always do a hygienic handwashing, it's fine with me. And let me ask you, are all professional chefs use gloves when cooking? I don't think so.
But if using gloves is a standard of preparing of foods in all types. Then that's your preference.

I am indian and I can tell you that these people are not very careful in matters of cleanliness. Ofcourse for the video they wash hands etc. but i have been to many cities in india and they will most probably not clean their hands even after they get dirty.
As a professional cook I do have to say gloves are not necessary due to the fact of how often chefs clean their hands tho I still recommend them depending on what you are doing in the kitchen

I'm Italian and I'm looking at Indian street food videos. Honestly, I know every country has its food culture and all, but I can't help about finding Indian street food completely nasty. I don't want to sound pretentious, but I think our food is generally way better, even compared to other "western" countries. Then again, everyone has their tastes, and it's ok!

@@rory_mercury4437 it's because Italian cuisine is based more on the simplicity of the recipe, so that the focus shifts on the quality of the ingredients. Too many spices would end up covering their great taste. As I said, in the end it all comes down to personal taste though :)

Plastic gloves are not good because their plastic peels off due to heat many times n that can get in food. It has happened when I ate food made by a chef with plastic gloves in Switzerland...
