Oh I have been scrolling and scrolling looking to see if anyone else had this question! I too do not see mankind having any authority to anoint Jesus to die for me. I understand she (Mary) poured all her oil on Jesus thereby anointing his (Jesus) feet, because she was loving and worshipping Him. Not anointing Him to die for her. Or giving Him permission to do so, as if she could. I am going to have to go with the Spirit on this as my mouth could not agree.
