Hi Steve!
Sorry for the late response. Kelly has been touring recently so has not been able to devote as much time to Chevel. In the case of Brynn Cartelli (Kelly's S14 winner), Brynn released her first original song Last Night's Mascara in November 2018 and is set to release her first album later this year. It has taken longer with Brynn as she changed labels to Atlantic Records. Kelly's S14 contestant Kaleb Lee has just released his first original single Cooler Weather and is set to release his first album, in which Kelly has a feature, next month. Kelly also funded this project!
I predict Chevel will debut a new single during The Voice live shows and then put together her record. I know Shane McAnally and Kacey Musgraves have written songs for her album (Broken Hearts was also written by them). I am assuming Chevel's first album will be released either at the end of this year or the start of 2020 depending on whether she stays with Universal Music Group.
