Frost mentioned the dungeon smg being pay to win, it's worse cuz you didn't pay for the smg... You payed for potential low rng to get one gun you may get a get decent roll on...
@@Wormy_fren look I'm gonna simplify it then dungeon key, a terrible idea with one gun that can actually compete with the immortal (or a decent rocket launcher) with no extra content or farm trials if you buy the season pass. My point is being a lot of darn effort for not much promise and one of them doesn't have enough content to be worth it not to mention you can only farm it once a week most of the time.
@@Wormy_fren I know looking at my original answer is a bit dull and ridiculous knowing myself I'll probably farm it anyway since I already sold my soul to bungo but it has far to little value for a dungeon key you have to get separately, not to mention as far as we can see things now everything feels overpriced next to it all rn. Love the game but for those who are new it's just not worth it
I just realized that I’d like to unlock the armor ornaments for this season, but I’m only at around rank 16. I would pour hours of grind into the game to get up to those ornaments, but there’s just nothing of worth or satisfaction in playing the game that much to even think about trying get to those ranks (unless I bought them). I feel like the season passes themselves should stick around and be able to be completed all-year-round. Especially now that it costs more and doesn’t include anything of value once the season is over because the pass disappears in-game
Which will do not a goddamn thing because people keep buying the shit. You buy it, Bungie gets away with more shit. It's so clear, but so many people are just commercialized zombies looking for happiness thru buying shit to keep up with the next guy. F'ing morons.
I feel like a prime recent example of Bungie promoting pay to win is how good The Immortal has been for so long. The gun has been massively overturned for so long and the meta has revolved around it for so long and for a free to play player to compete in high level pvp it’s almost necessary. You know the only way to get this SMG or anything close to it? PAYING FOR LIGHTFALL bc Trials is locked behind a paywall.
About the shader pricing, they used 2 be a 1 time use only when it was 40 dust, now you can use them as much as you like, doesn't justify the price, but does explain the increase in it...
Saw a comment on the original that reminded me of myself. A few friends just got into Destiny because some of us have been playing it a bunch recently. One of them bought the Lightfall annual pass and it made me feel like a bad friend for letting him do that with hardly any attempt to convince him not to. I’d say “it’s a trap” or “not worth it” with hardly any explanation, but now it really does make me feel bad for getting him into the danger zone of microtransaction city.
Man it's actually disgusting how a company can create such banger content whenever their product is in deep shit(see forsaken) and then whenever their product starts doing good or even amazing they just start half assing everything.
Even the new guardian ranks system is meant to make you spend money on them. I remember trying to play the Lightfall update without the DLC and the season and I couldn't progress past certain rank cos Bungie were just throwing "buy the DLC" and "now buy the season" kinda missions at me
they already have level increase mtx in there and raise power level to a certain cap, the free to trial thing was also correctly pointed out > try until level 8/xx and gain access to more if you buy XY DLC, a lot of the Free to trial/play content was also content vaulted so less content to try out, even the whole campaign since vanilla can't be experienced anymore...
One thing I noticed that I havent seen anyone else mention is that they also changed the eververse calendar so that you can no longer see when certain items will be sold for bright dust anymore. It used to break it down week by week on what was being sold so you know what to look out for to get for only bright dust, and now it only shows all the items that will be sold in the season but does not tell you which week it will be sold. Seems like another intentional ploy by bungie making it harder to get the items you want for bright dust, which in turn makes it more likely you will buy and spend their silver on their overpriced items.
@@_Wolf_x because if, lets just say, all I want from the eververse store is the new crimson ornament that makes the sight look better. The way it used to work would allow me to log on in whatever week it was sold, even if I wasn’t actively playing the game that week and make sure I get it for bright dust. The way it works now I would have to log in every single week of the season to check in and see if its being sold, which is not feasible for alot of players that have families and busy lives. The overall point is the change decreases the likelihood that players get the item they want for bright dust, which in turn increases the likelihood they buy it for silver. & the change in the calendar is another undercover change that was made for no other reason that to make more money at the expense of the players, which was the point of this video so I thought it was important to add it to the conversation.
I wouldn't care about microtransactions, if they would use the money improving the servers or hiring new developers or buying Kevin Yanes out of his contract 🙈 But considering they are making season passes more expensive and the already expensive DLCs Bungie seems to develop in the wrong direction
If people play enough to complete the entire season pass, then odds are they've payed for the season/dlc. So there shouldn't be any more reason to nickle and dime us for these small ass things when we've been getting hardly nothing additional. Remember that we've played thousands of hours for years and we still have hundreds ghosts and ships that we've never gotten from bright engrams while still getting duplicate drops. This only scratches the surface of terrible monetary practices they've been implementing.
I thought of something. Many people won’t spend money for Eververse but want to earn bright dust. You can get that drip fed from Vanguard, Crucible or Gambit bounties. But not doing Banshee-44 bounties, why? Because they are trying to keep those playlists populated enough to keep the new players playing enough so they can be some interested in earning rewards, increasing the likelihood of them spending money once the dopamine of getting loot hits them.
I want to get friends into this game, and I wanna do raids but pretty much every time the thing that’s stops it is a dlc, before this wasn’t so bad but now there so many different things you have to get
I came back this season because I saw that spare rations was back only to see it was locked behind the season pass even though I paid for it back in season of the drifter
Lets not forget marathon is already confirmed to have a store outside of the match which will let you buy oxygen, which lets you stay alive longer in a match. We wait to see wether you can spend real money on it or not..
OMG, get a grip. They would get destroyed if they did something like that in that genre. Clearly you've never played Escape from Tarkov. You get a set amount to spend every match, based on your performance in previous matches.
Thatcame into effect cause of cheaters were soooo bad during a time. Unplayable even. Making that you had to buy the expansion helped avoid this to a certain degree
I love Destiny 2 as much as the next guy but I honestly can't support the game anymore, it's far too late to give Bungie the benefit of the doubt. Bungie is far too big to even be given the benefit of the doubt. We deserve better after we collectively as a community have poured is so much time and money into the game.
The only holiday event I give even a shred of a shit about is Solstice because of the armor and the white glows. Once i get the white glow on the armor on my main, I stop bothering.
From the beginning, I have been playing Destiny. I didn't really think much at the time that the more something grows, the more inflation takes over. It's really difficult at times to deep think what the possibilities or probabilities are when there are other things to do that can take you away from what is happening to something that you care about. There are some games I have been returning to because the modding community has better care and preservation of the fan base and the games they are modding than most AAA game companies or studios that make them. Bethesda is a big one, but even though they have Skyrim being resold like a recyclable, the mods give new life to old game titles. Even though some of the old games have some jank, it is still refreshing to return and play these games. I'm waiting for Starfield and the modding community that will follow it just to see how far it will go. In the meantime, I have returned to Warframe, and so far, I am trying to find the groove because there have been some changes across the board. I will keep my tabs open to the Destiny community to how things have fared.
I think bungie should allow us to obtain thing from purchased past seasons . Somewhat to how halo does it. Once you reach rank 100 on the current season you should earn season point which you can spend on any season you have owned.
24:23 Honestly Frost you just explained why I bought beyond light cause I was in comp and I was just trying to unlock focusing and I was frozen so many times that I just got tired and bought it

Me and two friends were wanting to find more games we all can agree to play together, one of us 3 didnt have all of d2, that one friend considered a new light; and when he asked us if d2 was worth it... It was made sure he never resurected. Its not worth the actual (what is it now like $150 expansions alone) hundreds of dollars to play with us two
I called these MTX issues as a HUGE problem as soon as they launched cosmetics for cash. I have thousands of hours in both destiny's. Conqueror x9, hundreds of raid clears and I walked away this season because I just can't do it anymore. The core of the game was fun, however I can not waste anymore time with bungie bc they just prove time and time again they are just not into making a good game.
You're being just as misleading as Bungie is with this comment. That's simply the currency exchange rate between the two countries $1=0.20 Real. Bungie is not charging you $120 US dollars or the equivalent. Your money goes farther in your country, but when buying a foreign product it's going to have to be profitable for that company so of course it's going to be more expensive than a game developed in Brazil. I mean everyone jokes about the next game that will kill destiny 2 but we already knows bungie is gunna kill the game themselves. I honestly started just playing only like maybe one day a week because I’m just tired. It doesn’t feel good to play, more of a chore.
More like hitting 1mil.
@@relaxingend1098 which speaks to the fact there MIGHT be a problem
Me watching this, an ad on cross’s video. Next thing I see is frost in an apron with the pan. Actually pissing myself😂
The reaction to the ads was the funniest shit lol
I just got to the "who the f are youuuu" and scream laughed
Frost mentioned the dungeon smg being pay to win, it's worse cuz you didn't pay for the smg... You payed for potential low rng to get one gun you may get a get decent roll on...
Okay, that's... That's how destiny work. Yipee you did it.
Love the game but for those who are new it's just not worth it
Lmao the reactions to the ads 😂
I said ah oop... jumpscare..
Especially now that it costs more and doesn’t include anything of value once the season is over because the pass disappears in-game
the worst part about harmonizers is you can only hold onto 1 MAKING YOU HAVE TO USE EM BEFORE COLLECTING THE NEXT ONE
All the tubers reacting to each other for once they’re using the voices
Well they did that because of cheaters
@@austinidkneededtomakeanewa6303 lol, ur right. Idk how i forgot

Bro when you grabbed the apron and the pan 😂😂
About the shader pricing, they used 2 be a 1 time use only when it was 40 dust, now you can use them as much as you like, doesn't justify the price, but does explain the increase in it...
All Destiny TH-camrs need to put these videos out there
Saw a comment on the original that reminded me of myself.
This is not only one of the best videos Aztecross has ever made but this is also one of the best Destiny videos EVER
I kinda dodged a bullet , last time i played was Beyond Light lol. Great reaction vid!
That fucking frying pan took me out bro 😂😂😂
Even the new guardian ranks system is meant to make you spend money on them. I remember trying to play the Lightfall update without the DLC and the season and I couldn't progress past certain rank cos Bungie were just throwing "buy the DLC" and "now buy the season" kinda missions at me
You know it’s getting bad when they’re closing in on Rockstar on monetization if not just as bad
I swear theyre like 3 mistakes away from being just as bad as Activision lmao
Bungie doesn't care guys, they have your money and none of you are strong enough to stop giving it to them.
I nearly lost my fucking mind when you busted out with the apron and pan😂😂
they already have level increase mtx in there and raise power level to a certain cap, the free to trial thing was also correctly pointed out > try until level 8/xx and gain access to more if you buy XY DLC, a lot of the Free to trial/play content was also content vaulted so less content to try out, even the whole campaign since vanilla can't be experienced anymore...
You can see what items Will be sold for bright dust, why would not knowing WHEN they are sold be a problem?
No you saw this exact take on the subreddit, don’t act like you came up with this
@@_Wolf_x because if, lets just say, all I want from the eververse store is the new crimson ornament that makes the sight look better.
@@quailman8238 never been on reddit it my life, but nice try I guess. Glad to know I’m not the only one who noticed though.
Can’t even remember the last time I got an exotic ornament from a bright engram, for a weapon or a piece of armor
I'm pretty sure prior to forsaken, duplicates from eververse would give bright dust too
I wouldn't care about microtransactions, if they would use the money improving the servers or hiring new developers or buying Kevin Yanes out of his contract 🙈
But considering they are making season passes more expensive and the already expensive DLCs Bungie seems to develop in the wrong direction
Love the Apron and pan bit!! Great reactions and love your chill style as always!!
I thought of something. Many people won’t spend money for Eververse but want to earn bright dust. You can get that drip fed from Vanguard, Crucible or Gambit bounties.
But not doing Banshee-44 bounties, why?
Because they are trying to keep those playlists populated enough to keep the new players playing enough so they can be some interested in earning rewards, increasing the likelihood of them spending money once the dopamine of getting loot hits them.
bruh the fuckin chef outfit had me rolling LOL
Cross killed it with this vid like really killed bungie.
Like literally tucked them into bed but it was a coffin
I want to get friends into this game, and I wanna do raids but pretty much every time the thing that’s stops it is a dlc, before this wasn’t so bad but now there so many different things you have to get
Has nobody noticed that the recommended section in the store is where the daily discounted item was
I came back this season because I saw that spare rations was back only to see it was locked behind the season pass even though I paid for it back in season of the drifter
That really puts into perspective the whole travesty of Events. They exist, solely, to sell you cosmetics. Ouch.
Can't wait to see datto reacting to frost reacting to cross reacting to datto
Destiny never change keep doing you 😂 I’ve happily moved on
Look who finally decided to show up to this conversation a couple years late
Lets not forget marathon is already confirmed to have a store outside of the match which will let you buy oxygen, which lets you stay alive longer in a match.
We wait to see wether you can spend real money on it or not..
OMG, get a grip. They would get destroyed if they did something like that in that genre. Clearly you've never played Escape from Tarkov. You get a set amount to spend every match, based on your performance in previous matches.
As a f2p player you can’t even play trials of osiris because you have to buy lightfall or beyond light and I hope that Ifrostbolt sees this comment.
Should every facet of the game be playable for free then? Like what are you guys expecting realistically
Thatcame into effect cause of cheaters were soooo bad during a time. Unplayable even. Making that you had to buy the expansion helped avoid this to a certain degree
@@nailinthefashionDon’t call Destiny free to play. More like free to demo.
@@LordVerdo that isn't what I typed. I asked you what you expect for free
i fking choked on my bread when he said "Destiny 2 Lite!!!" like HAHAHAH FR
I died when he broke out the frying pan lol.
This confirms the theory that the only game that can kill Destiny, is Destiny...
The part that frostbolt saw the guy talking about how to make money on youtube and then frost skipped by saying who are you was funny😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
32:47 You won me over. 👏👏
I think bungie should allow us to obtain thing from purchased past seasons . Somewhat to how halo does it. Once you reach rank 100 on the current season you should earn season point which you can spend on any season you have owned.
When my man frost whooped out an apron and frying pan 💀💀💀💀💀
24:23 Honestly Frost you just explained why I bought beyond light cause I was in comp and I was just trying to unlock focusing and I was frozen so many times that I just got tired and bought it
Frost reactions to adds needs to have its own video 😂
The sad thing is that bungie just has to drop a trailer and everyone will forget about the problems. They will love bungie again like nothing ever happened. I feel like this conversation happens every year until the new “hot” trailer drops.
It's something we all expected. But it's way to much now.silver is very expensive and .less bright dust items 😢
Surprised he didn’t bring up the ever verse calendar being removed
“That’s the best fucking cooking show”
Aztecross, IFrostBolt, DestinyFunPolice - my favourite trio in Destiny 2 on youtube 😜💪
Me and two friends were wanting to find more games we all can agree to play together, one of us 3 didnt have all of d2, that one friend considered a new light; and when he asked us if d2 was worth it... It was made sure he never resurected. Its not worth the actual (what is it now like $150 expansions alone) hundreds of dollars to play with us two
The ads had me dying loco 🤣 stay doing what u do 💪🏾
This is the fall. We are here. We seen it happen. They did nothing. Oh well.
ive always known about it i new it when i first saw the eververse store this is what would happen

TH-cam automatically places the ads, so thanks youtube?
Haven’t turned D2 on since Diablo 4 early release. Destiny will always have a place but feels sooo good to play something else rn
20$ a dungeon , here in brazil are 120$
Reais? Right…?
You're being just as misleading as Bungie is with this comment. That's simply the currency exchange rate between the two countries $1=0.20 Real. Bungie is not charging you $120 US dollars or the equivalent. Your money goes farther in your country, but when buying a foreign product it's going to have to be profitable for that company so of course it's going to be more expensive than a game developed in Brazil. And the last thing I ever want to do is defend Bungie, but when you're also misleading ppl, I have to.
