Well, I probably wouldn't have attempted this without your excellent demo. Although I have a 316TI (year 2002), with only one window switch for each side (driver & passenger), all of your instructions still applied. And, as you showed, it was really easy to do. Thank you.
thanks from Japan. This part wasn't found in Japan. So I succeeded to replace the switch of the back window and the switch of the rear window. Thank you so much!!
Nice video. Be careful not to break the the little circle clips they can be well brittle especially on a cold day. Bring the whole thing to warm up to give yourself a chance. It's 20 year old plastic in my case.
Guys my drivers window goes down but not up the switch feels odd no double click just single but slight play. I know it can't be the regulators because if you hold the car key lock button or put the key in lock position for long enough its goes up. Any ideas. Is just a switch?? Bought 1 switch to try this.
Everything is great in the video EXCEPT on how to remove the button switch. You say to pry it off and then it magically installs itself without ever showing how... That's what I wanted to see.... so the video fails to deliver. Off to the next one!
Great video! No stupid music. No unnecessary rambling. Clear and to the point. Great job! Thank you.
Appreciate the feedback!

Thank you so much!!
I was about to replace the entire switch unit for $55. Thanks for saving me the money.

I'm impressed, you did the whole job with one hand, while holding camera in the other !
Boliarin Waited so long for somebody to notice and appreciate that lol
Thanks for posting this. Ordered a couple of replacemens for the 330Ci
You tell us how easy it was but you didn't show it. I was hoping to find out how that switch slides in.
Thanks for the video! You did the repair one handed... impressive!
You just saved me a mint by only replacing one button rather than the entire switch assembly! Thanks.
CurtPhoto68 no worries bro, subscribe to the channel 👍

Cheers. Nice and concise presentation. Nice work .
Thanks man. I'm going get this switch right now and fix mine. It's the same exact switch
Thanks mate .You are very helpful, brilliant!
It’s the joints/dimples on both sides that break. Take your old switch out & check first 👍

Just did this on my E46. Thank you!!!!!

Mine just did this and just completely broke off after trying to figure out why no double click and my window is stuck down
Gracias crack!
in case of emergency when the switch completely broke, can you still operate the windows (close it) by poking / pushing the buttons inside?
hello there good guy! Yes u can use a flathead screw driver to push it forward or backward (not up and down)
ah i see, thankyou!
Thank you for sharing. Your instruction is easy to understand and right to the point.
Thanks a lot my guy
OK, thanks.
This was helpful. Thanks!
THANK YOU !!!!! :)

How did you remove the broken button? You skipped over that.
You skipped the only part I need to see
Thanks
Is it same for manual???
Pete Martin no idea, never done it on a manual so not sure how you access the screws
That’s what I’m looking for
Thanks bro
