Craving-Worthy Ramen Egg Recipe | Ajitama

- These eggs are a true marvel. Easy to make but really eye catching and absolutely delicious.
📜This recipe will make 3 ajitama eggs.
🔹 Ingredients: 🔹
- 3 eggs (M or L)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 8 to 10 tbsp water
🔹 Preparation: 🔹
1. Boil a pot of water, just enough to fully submerge the eggs
2. Pierce the bottom of the eggs with a needle and make a small hole.
3. Cook the eggs for about 6 and a half minutes. Make sure that you stir the eggs for the first minute of cooking.
4. Move the cooked eggs to a bowl with ice water and let the eggs cool completely.
5. Once cooled, peel the eggs and put them in a container. Pour over 2 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp mirin and water. Mix and cover with paper towel. Put the marinating eggs into the fridge over night or up to 2 days.
6. Serve and enjoy.
