    What are your thoughts, is Casey Stoner right? Is it better for Honda to leave the sport if they are still not competitive in 2027?
    Let us know in the comments down below ⬇

      Of course he is wrong about Marc, but he is right about 2027. My question is I know they have been churning out a ton of new parts to be tested, but who have they really hired? Or are we still talking about the same bunch of Japanese engineers that have been in the company for decades? Bottom line is this, it seems to me Honda is running around like a headless chicken. What they need is engineering expertise in aerodynamics and strong technical leadership. Before we even talk about MotoGP, just look at Honda's effort in WSBK. Is absolutely pathetic. It is a complete train wreck that has been going on for much longer than even its current MotoGP disaster. Let me ask you this, if they can't even build a competitive WSBK bike, how can you expect Honda to be able to sort out a much more advanced and complex MotoGP prototype bike? The new 2027 rules are supposed to help out the Japanese manufacturers with much less emphasis on aero. If for some reason they still can't come through? Then, yes they should pull out and do a complete internal overhaul before they even think about racing and motorsports again.

      @@jasondias2778 Yep. They are getting absolutely nowhere. Honda needs to headhunt the MotoGP equivalent of Adrian Newey in F1 who is not named Gigi Dall’Igna. That is what they need to do. They need an engineering guru/savant who can turn around the entire engineering department in Tokyo.

      if Honda doesn't get competitive in 2027, they should just quit. with these years ahead before the new regulation, Honda should put more focus on the 214V starting from now. About Marc it's not his fault, its Honda's braindead decision to develop a bike around one single rider that could give them best result, and left the rest behind.

    How many decades did it take for the European brands to catch up to the Japanese? In fact the concessions system was started by the Japanese brands so that the European brands could compete. The Japanese manufacturers have been struggling just since a couple of years, knowing what the Japanese are capable of, they'll surely bounce back sooner or later.

    Honda and Yamaha and Suzuki,should all go to WSB , with full works teams. Moto Gp, isn’t what it used to be, with all the gadgets & rider aids. etc, have sort of spoiled it all. The sport needs to return to pure rider skills, that were once the cornerstone of the sport of bike racing..

      I remember times when Japanese bikes, especially Hondas, used to have the most "advanced electronics". Or the most gimmicks - depending on how you see things. Now that things have turned around, they are complaining about the same things that made them being the strongest before...

      The past years were Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Ducati, Ducati. And didn't Honda win like 5 in a row? I know they won a bunch. However, I do think Joan Mir crashing while fighting for, oh, 12 place, does show that Honda is probably down by 20 to 40 hp compared to Ducati. Joan Mir isn't the best rider but he's extremely consistent and rides very conservatively, but he's crashing a lot just to keep a top 15 placing.

    Marini said he was not pushing as hard as he could but trying to remain as fast as possible while being stable to log as much laps as he can for the development. No real gain on going ball out and risk injury which will stall development.

    Should never have signed Marini. He’s not up to being a factory rider. I like Stoner but he’s got some neck blaming Marquez. Seem to remember nobody else could ride the Ducati but him.

    • @rzaultra165
      @rzaultra165 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      Many people blamed Marquez, because they couldn't see him riding a Honda in such conditions, but he was able to bring Honda to the front of the grid, even since 2016 Honda was helpless with the new regulations, but Marquez with his natural ability was able to bring Honda to the championship, that's true, in unexpected. So blaming Marquez is a way to cover up Marquez's strengths, because Marquez's existence has indirectly degraded many racers in M0T0GP. The motorbike he brought was not just slow, but dangerous. Professional racers definitely know this but are reluctant to say it, instead they blame Marquez, that's how to beat him.

    I doubt so Honda will quit motogp project. They had the resources to do it. It now they need the right attitude to run it. They had good engineer back ground. They may had overlook for years building a bike for just one specific rider. This is where the mistake they may had make. Ducati took almost 14 years later to be champion. For sure now the Japanese turn around will not be in 2027. 😅

    I bet I could fix Hondas team with a pile of papers. The papers would each have the names of all the individuals managing any aspect of the team all the way up the and down the chain. Everyone gets the same paper and they privaatey anonymously rate each name scale of 1 to 10 with three check boxes after each name name one "keep" another "can" and the third "promote" with place to write a code for what job they SHOULD have When all the papers are tallied up but by a monitored thrid nuetral parties? Then whatever the reaults are FOLLOW IT! And watch what happens! Because my opinion is there is some power stuggle politicy people thing happening at Honda motogp racing heirarchy that prevents the right people from running the show .....the same sort of crap that happens at corporations all over the place losing stick holders money. All it takes is an entrenched douchebg here or there that is enough to throw a wrench in the gears....some people are like cancer My guess is that the very same staunch loyalties and work ethic mindsets that can make Japanese companys AWESOME can also backfire and make them disfunctional with weak links in the chian
