Thank you for producing these fascinating segments about the restoration of these recordings. Being nearly 80 years old, I grew up at the start of the LP era and have upgraded my vinyl playback system multiple times. However, I do feel that when properly recorded and mastered, the CD medium can be very satisfying, and have thousands of discs in my collection. What puzzles me is that since you have gone back to the 8 track original tapes, which you say were made to anticipate surround sound in the quadraphonic format, why aren’t there concurrent releases of these remastered recordings in the SACD format? I have had the privilege of being close friends with two fine recording engineers, the late Jack Renner, as well as John Newton, both of whom had embraced DSD as their recording medium of choice, surely suggesting that this CD format could work very well with your project. Please advise if you have the time and interest to do so.
Eugen Jochum's 70s Bruckner recordings were not made by Deutsche Grammophon but EMI (now Warner Classics). His Deutsche Grammophon Bruckner cycle dates from the 50s and 60s.
The CDs of these had so-so sound quality. I hope they can do their analog magic on these recordings, like on the other original source LPs
Meravigioso,un suono davvero impressionante, che ti incolla alla sedia!!
Fantastic!

How do you mix that? I see a yellow box but no speakers. Are you just using AKG headphones on these releases?
Amazing. Can’t wait to own this. DG please realease the complete Barenboim Chicago Bruckner on vinyl. That would be absolutely sensational!
Längst vorbestellt, ich freu mich drauf. Glück 🍀Auf aus Dortmund
Why not the recordings by Eugen Jochum of the 1970's? Many of these got the Grand Prix du Disque....
