If Rossi can do the dangle, I can do it my own way, too :) Seriously though, my knees used to be killing me after each 20 minutes session because I would end up supporting my weight with my INSIDE leg. After a lot of experimentation I learned that at least with this "wrong" way I can guarantee that all my weight is supported by my OUTSIDE leg (and butt, of course). Plus, I would actually be hanging. I also have poor flexibility so this is just more comfortable. If this was more of a regular thing I might reconsider my technique so I can have better access to shift or use the rear brake.

Great explanation for the 'odd foot position' it's not WRONG just different ! Do what works for you as long as you are SAFE doing it!
