      How your feel now after ablation?

    • @davidmercer1126
      @davidmercer1126 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Oggy Kamsot mine failed so I'm going for a second one in February. I'm on medication now to make my heart beat and stay normal. That makes such a huge difference cause I feel better and I'm not scared all the time of svt like before. I'm also on a blood thinner. I learned my svt stems from Atril Fibulation which could of been found out before my abalation if I had a echocardiogram but I'm glad to atleast have some answers and more of a plan going forward

      Hi Dan, I am considering an ablation in near future. Heard that there may be a flutter issue in the blanking period (first 3 months
      ). Wonder if you have any arrhythmia symptoms in the first week? Also, you need to lay down in the bed for quite a few hours
      right after the procedure? Best wish for a nice recovery.

      @@robertli4392 It's been a week and so far everything is working really well. You have to lay flat for two hours after it's done. That part is easy. You don't really want to move much anyway. I had vtach and svtach with a little AFib. Have not had one issue since the ablation other than sore and tired for a few days.

      @@juricagracak8895 unfortunately you have to be semi awake for it. You have to hold your breath at certain times. I was really nervous too but it's been completely worth it. Hang in there and let me know how it goes. 👍👍

      Update: been about two months and everything is working perfectly. I'm still out of shape but, I swear I feel ten years younger. 😁

    My wife waited in my room until the procedure was over , and talked to me as soon as I got waken from it. I guess it depends on the hospital policy and you should ask your doctor what their policy is. Oh by the was my wife and I didn't have a mask on when I was in my room, but she brought me in so if I had anything contagious she was around me too.

    Why would the patient have a face mask on when they are in their room? I had three procedures since covid and I never had a mask on while either in preop or in the actual operating room. And even with covid I didn't have a mask on while in those two rooms including being pushed in the hall way between points. Even during the procedure they know your health status. My hospital was a big hospital in Penna too. This I believe was made in Canada.

      count yourself lucky!!! I kept my mask on in my room after catherization. Too many people in and out of your room and you have no idea where they have been. I picked up some infection after 29 hrs in hospital!! Risk isn't worth picking up COVID or worse.
