So, in regards to Coco. Her English is so good because she's American-born. I'm pretty sure she's said she's from 'Dragon Georgia', or at least, that's where American viewers surmise she's from due to her accent.
When she debuted, her character was that of the 'bad at Japanese foreigner' and had an intentionally skewed pronunciation of Japanese, but this wasn't received too amazingly well and she ended up dropping it pretty early on.
Oooh so this is the reason why! We were wondering about this and this came to our minds, but we weren't sure about it haha. Thank you so much for this! The accent also makes sense! We appreciate you giving us the heads up about her background, and thank you for watching too! :)

You're almost right. She isn't American-born, she was born in Japan, but moved to America with her family when she was very young. Other than that, you are spot on!

She moved to japan around 12 years ago due to her parents work.
Coco's nickname is "Kaicho" wich means "chairman" (in this context refers to the chairman of a Yakuza family), because she is a huge fan of the Yakuza series (her first name is even a reference to Kazuma Kiryu, the protagonist of those games)
Oh this makes a lot more sense! I'm familiar with the term Kaichou but I wasn't aware of the Yukuza backstory here! That's really awesome - thank you so much for letting us know about this! So cool that Coco is a fan of Yakuza.

Asacoco is the morning stream that Coco does at 6 o'clock. In the start she was doing it 5 days at week, then she reduced to 3 times at week (now is suspended because she's training herself as singer/dancer for the hololive live concert).
BUT Asacoco is a series of imaginary funny products that will "fill your brain with punny jokes" (aka, like a drug) too, that Coco sells during it, so "being high on asacoco" is a thing.
And yeah, Coco is hightly rec, she's the less idol-like of hololive, but one of the most funny and creative of them.
I swear Sakura Miko can be the president with all that freedom talk.

yes coco is from georgia and kaichou means chairman, they call her chairman since shes a yakuza dragon, she takes good care of alot of the girls and helps them behind the scenes when they need it, and before the EN girls she was also their most fluent english representative, all of this is why SHE is the one who pitched the idea to start hololive english in the first place, and why they made her the one to scout the EN girls, and she did a damn good job finding the english girls.
Watch some of Coco's collaboration streams and you'll really start to hear her American accent. She's one of my favorite Vtubers

Kaichou (chairman) = Coco
Danchou (team leader) = Noel
Senchou (captain) = Marine
Tenchou (store owner) = Kiara

Coco is from southern america but currently in japan and also Kaichou is what they call her because she is the leader/president of a Yakuza Gang (in her lore) Kaichou means president

Kaochou is Chairman, and that's Coco's nickname and pretty much almost everyone call her that. It's because she loved the Yakuza Series and it made her to learn more about Japanese culture. Also the nickname kinda fits for what she does behind the scenes, since she tends to help a lot behind the scenes.

Ok so considering some people already explained about Coco's really good English and why Miko calls her Kaichou, I'll add some fun facts, it's a bit long but bear with me:
1) Many if not most girls with a 'degree' in hololive share the 'chou'. As follows:
• Marine: Senchou (captain)
• Noel: Danchou (Captain/Leader but from a military context since she's a knight)
• Kiara: Tenchou (store manager)
• Coco: Kaichou (president/chairman of Yakuza clan)
There's a shachou (President) iirc though I don't remember who exactly.
shachou may refer to aqua or pekora as the president of their respective construction companies. but i may be wrong
