A great little machine that will need immediate service, if it’s been sitting in the closet unused, for an extended period of time.
Oil it up and it will be as good as new, and better than a 2024 model.

I don’t know why not. Try Tandy Leather and inquire about the proper weight for that machine.
If I remember correctly, I have customers that use it successfully.

I just had to clean and lube one of these. If they had just told people to oil it (and given them oil holes) instead of all that grease that just becomes gunk and has to be removed.

It probably seemed like a good idea at the time of designing them.
