Every now & then a tune is constructed way before it's time. The time is definitely not up here! Did this band do any other songs that you or your hubby can remember? This should have been a smash but a tiny label from Grand Rapids couldn't compete against the GIANTS
This was the first song i heard on your channel right around the time you first made it. Im 51, and for literal decades i thought i was one of the only ones who listened to, and loved all things Heavy Psych and Hard Rock. Old enough to shake my cane at computers and youtube, young enough to revel in the absolute magic they are for things such as this.
This is an early rock anthem before the phrase was coined Ripping guitar, early shredding before that phrase was coined The flip perfectly compliments the plug side. I've never heard of this band so I wouldn't know the plug side but I do know that both sides of this 45 are hard rock JAMS !

I'm impressed that they knew a song by Chicken Shack! I mean, that's a stonkin' tune, but that's one of those UK bands like the Groundhogs or the Edgar Broughton Band that should have been more popular in the States but weren't!
Short answer: record companies were starting to suck, even in those days ...is usually the reason why. i wasn't around, but I've seen it with so many bands of the time...like dragonfly from colorado, they got to make their album but it got no recognition until recently
My father was the lead singer in TNS, glad to see people are still sharing the album!!

We Hollywood people hear his songs. His day in the sun is coming. You got one director here who will try to see to it.

Great single. Both sides. I love the sound. I hope he's still rockin'.
Singer is alive and well....( My husband) still amazed that almost 50 years it is being played !
Gotta inquire what TNS stands for,

Very kool sounding obscure Michigan band.
Another example of US radio being too afraid to play pure rock
