I agree with your video wholeheartedly. I live in Indianapolis. I go to Indiana games about once every 8 years. I have ticket for this Indiana vs. Maryland game. Excited to see Indiana live 🙂
Live in Bloomington,Ind. and have seen a LOT of IU football. This is the best team I have seen. Great offense and a defense that actually stops the other team from scoring which is rare in the annals of IU football. Another thing this team has is depth which is what makes Ohio State such a great team every year. The UCLA away game was the first eye opener as to how good this team is. Next step is Maryland. Go Hoosiers !!!! Liked and subscribed! Good job !!!!
Let’s go Hoosiers! I’ve been going to IU games since I was 6 back when Antwaan Randle El was the QB. I’m glad the guys are having success so far this season!
Rutgers isn't flashy, they just play well and make you beat them. I'm thinking 8 maybe 9 wins for them. Illinois has a tougher schedule but the play is similar. So 7-8 wins. Indiana due to the easiest schedule I can ever remember them having has a real chance at 9-10 wins. IU fan myself but it's nice seeing some other teams play well.
the IUFB team is extremely well prepared, in a masterfully comprehensive way, which has been the trademark of all Coach Cig's winning seasons - EVERY season - that he's been a HC! He's a no nonsense, builder of effective football teams. This was evident, btw, when you "google": him...he wins! And that was available during his intro presser late last year! As an old IU sports fan, his 1st yr for IUFB feels and looks very much akin to RMK's 1st yr for IUBB, in 1971! Ie, this is not your father's IUFB team!
Great analysis. Worth noting - even though they have a ton of transfers, most of the key transfers already played with Cignetti at JMU. I think that helps set the tone for this squad. We'll see if they can keep it up!
Rourke is a legit NFL talent. The shame will be the fans not showing up to support the team. In Indiana you have this massive notre dame football / IU basketball demograph that exists and its a shame. IU football got alot better under Hoeppner and Bill Lynch. The issue is always depth... a few guys get hurt and they are in trouble. I do not get that same feeling watching this IU team. The look like a complete team.
Yesterday I saw where they only had 4k tickets left. Might be a sellout or really close? I think people will be really excited if Cignetti can keep it going. We have a decent shot to be another Kansas State style program
@@tperkins17 got them to their first bowl game in 2007 since 1993, I would call that an improvement for IU football. He had quite a few players drafted in his tenure, and despite their record after the 07 season they were very competitive in their losses. Usually never blown out in conference play.
Maryland isn't UM, OSU, Penn St, Oregon, or whatever, but Indiana is for real. They're so solid that neither the rain from the hurricane remnants, nor even the old IU past(which is proving to have nothing to do with right now) could keep them from running away with the game.
I live in Indianapolis. Rourke is 23 years old and Anthony Richardson (QB for the Indianapolis Colts) is 22 years old. Rourke is a better passer than Richardson. I like Richardson--he is a competitor and he is trying. Having said all of that Rourke is a better pure pocket passer.
You jinxed them by mentioning that they have no turnovers yet.. oops.. they had 4 turnovers vs Maryland! However, they still won rather easily by 2 TDs and probably should've won by more (had a 3 touchdown lead with just a few minutes to go). Only IU can stop IU, unless they are playing a really good team. Btw, you're a good speaker with a pleasant voice, so you should be on camera. Perhaps have guests? I think it would attract more subscribers.

Thank you!
Rourke and a bevy of very good receivers---your take that these players are competent and confident are spot on.

It's amazing that the three teams everyone said should be kicked out of the Big Ten have actually gotten good in 2024: Indiana, Illinois and Rutgers.
They all got good coaches now
IU got the best QB in the big 10

Who is everyone? Indiana and Illinois are great basketball programs only a moron would suggest kicking them from the Big 10.
@@kevinkelley1644iu deserves an easy schedule after playing osu psu michigan every year
I think Indiana made the right hire being from Indiana it’s nice to see them do good they hired a experienced coach
As a proud local of Bloomington indiana I can say I am very VERY exited to have decent football in southern indiana
Gave up a like and sub...looking forward to seeing more IU football content!
Ellison us a stud!
I was at the Charlotte game. Been an IU sports fan my whole life. Never seen a football program from IU in my life!

Go RU!
Cig’s winning seasons are every season. Hes never had a losing record. ‼️

It’s kind of fitting when you look at the pic you have displayed. It just happens to be 3 former JMU guys bringing down the Charlotte ball carrier.
This is JMUs 3rd season as a FBS team.
Go Hoosiers!!!
Cignetti was the head coach when JMU transitioned from fcs to fbs
Thanks for the heads up! I thought that was the case.

Indiana did not get better under Lynch lol

We need to fill up Memorial Stadium!!

they have 0 turnovers on the season
Who? Indiana? Might want to recheck your stats buddy
IU giving up 1 pt/game in the 2nd half. Defensive adjustments at half when needed are working.
Damn, that’s a good stat
It’s amazing Rourke ended up at IU. How did Michigan and Ohio State not get him?
Michigan was in the middle of a coaching change and were also waiting to see what JJ McCarthy would do at the time. Not sure what OSU’s excuse was 💁

Thye have a cupcake schedule and should take advantage of it
Yay Hoo Hoo Hoosiers !
And they just beat Maryland. They are averaging over 49 points a game.

Appreciate it!
FYI I do all of my camera work over at the Voice of College Football where I host ‘Big Ten Live’
Why so few photos, what’s the point of a video without seeing a few pictures of the players
Let them sleep!
No overlooking em over here they are the best team in the BIG ten rn imo not a “top” team
