Why Amazon did not include the clock and song info and visible weather info on the big echo is beyond me...I went with the dot and it it awesome seeing the music and other info scroll across the screen. As for the sound, it's great also and it's about 17 feet away from my bed...Dot for the win! Just got it for $30!
how is now, did U regret buying the dot or did U notice any cons?
@@ibra5o6 I actually bought another Fire 10 tablet because of the storms we get here in the gulf and I luv the weatherbug weather maps on the tablet. The Fire tablet also has Alexa and another major advantage is that I can take it outside while I am working...plus I can make video calls too. Being able to shop and surf online plus play all apps like TH-cam and Netflix is another major advantage. The Dot went back to Amazon

This appears to be fascinating. Particularly those using Mediatek CPUs, the Amazon Echo series of gadgets has always been particularly hip.
Amazon is selling the large echo’s for $49 with same day delivery. So $10 less than the dot
If you don’t mind it being bigger and have better audio but not having the in built in words/ led lights in the front then yeah go for the echo.

It is called an Echo 4th gen. It's not a Dot. Hope that helps, though your post was a long time ago.
