He’s moves are pretty strong without bankai . I could see him destroying an opponent without even have to go bankai . With him I could see the strategy of completely emptying someone health before using the kikon move. Also the amount of konpaku?(the bars I don’t remember all the terms quite yet) the amount of bars he destroys while his Bankai is active is probably high
There's a mix-up aspect to his spiritual pressure moves, the first one is armored and can go through opponents combo strings, but is most likely unsafe on block, the second one punishes you if you try to read the first spiritual pressure move and block it; it will get crushed if you guess wrong by the second spiritual pressure move.
We don't know yet what happens when you use signature/spiritual pressure moves post-bankai (not nothing, I presume) and can't say for certain it can't be reactivated. I always thought he was cool, maybe not as cool as Byakuya or Zaraki, but still cool and his reveal trailer matches that. Looks cool, I'll probably play him, but less than a bunch of others.
Okay one thing I just noticed, renji bankai says when spiritual energy is empty his bankai disappears NOT reshie I think they are referring to the bars, spiritual pressure moves would be fun if they are going for Renji and koma have reach and power but renji gets special spiritual pressure moves and once you use like 2 of them your bankai ends i.e he has restrictions in bankai Koma on the other hand has normal access to his supers I.e no restrictions
I believe that his awakening is gonna be alot more destructive then other characters awakening. I also think he's gonna have some of the highest damage output of any character. It's a high risk high reward scenario. I also think on top of that he's gonna be a big problem without his awakening/before his awakening. He's gonna be strong af.
I would like to think that they wouldn't completely butcher him post-bankai, hopefully they give him an altered moveset where he still has a signature more and SP skills, but clearly very close range. Giving him zero special moves afterwards would suck, but depending on how many stocks he can take in awakening (rough guess of 5), I could definitely understand that. He's definitely a character that'll screw you over if you dont have meter to counter or flash step lmaoo. Mid to late game awakening and then just steamroll
Maybe he becomes a boss character when in bankai As in stupid damage but also an upgraded health bar I think it'd be really interesting if they did that, like when you go into awakening the opponent has to play defnece or the die but once they get you health bar down they win the rest of the game easy
renji is not better komamura he is just more varstile then koma, koma likely has better atk/def outright meaning his bankai is more committal(you have no way to dispel the debuff) but also can do alot more damage so he dont need the full heal or to shortcut the bankai debuff. you play koma if you like playing defense and punishing the opponent into the dirt off one mistake and you play renji if you want to be more aggressive. and also no the debuff most likely does not last the rest of the fight. also also i finally get to see one of my mains woot.
Your right, he’s worse then than renji. At least renji has a move that recovers his abilities from a weakened state. Komamura’s just no longer available

Seems like his awakening is best saved for later in the match instead of popping it earlier if it goes away after his reishi is depleted. 🤔
