This is insanely good. The low end notes are solid, present, full. The ambience of the instrument is unreal. It literally feels like I am sitting in a big cathedral whole listening in my studio monitors. The versatility of sounds are unreal.
Yes, this is indeed an amazing achievement. It felt like a Niagra Falls of sound rush over me the first time I played this instrument. The team did a great job in their approach to recording and presenting it inside of KONTAKT.
This is truly amazing. I've heard this and about an hour later I was downloading it so thought I'd pop back and leave a comment. . I couldn't wait to purchase this so thanks for the review . I've a 2 x 61 note organ with a 25 note pedalboard and the external midi mode works great for those with an organ . if I select to RH to midi Channel 2 I can play the lower manual on the organ and LH to Midi Channel 3 for the bass pedal. You need to set the midi ch to omni in kontakt though or it won't work and then use the external midi mode in the keyboard settings and choose your midi input channels to match the organ and of course you can use the expression pedal . Very pleased with this so thanks again
Happy Birthday! 🎂 I know you will enjoy playing this one. They did a phenomenal job capturing the organ and made very intelligent choices regarding the registrations and presets, Enjoy.
@@PraiseTracks thanks Simeon, birthdays not till 10th but she wanted to get it while the introductory deal was on, just waiting on it downloading. Yeah your review certainly showed the power of this one. Did you unify it?
Now, if there would be a sample set of RAH, Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, and St. Paul's Cathedral in London put together...That would be earth-shattering! Come on you people - Think outside the box, will ya?
Oh yeah, it was so amazing when I first heard the sound coming through the headphones, it was like it totally surrounded me, such a wonderful experience. Thanks so much for watching.
thanks again to you Simeon I discovered this fantastic VST. I created all the registers in Unify patches and frankly it's much more powerful and pleasant to make layers than on Kontakt. The results are stunning
This beats every pipe organ sample library out of the water for my ears!!! I hope this reacts to the shorts equally well as the longs. Maybe I should try and get this library? It would be interesting.
@@PraiseTracks I'm always inspired by your enthusiasm, Simeon! And I love your attitude and connection to sample libraries. They can be great adventures and experiences for sure!!! :)
Well you know what they say; a bird’s gotta sing, and the sun’s gotta shine” ☀️ With this instrument, it was so overwhelming when I heard it for the first time. The team did a fantastic job in capturing it for us to enjoy. Thanks as always for your kind support my friend.
Well Simeon, you did it yet again. BUT this time it surely is a no-brainer. While I watch your channel and watch for the incredible things you demo, I'm many times influenced by your performances, inspired by your enthusiasm, and encouraged and inspired to get these deals that often pass by your channel. THIS again, was a no-brainer. Who could NOT have this incredible instrument? I mean, I'm not an organist by any means but I dearly love these incredible "instruments of kings" and this was a must have. I love to just sit and improvise even though I'm not that good at it. But thanks to you - you cost me money again. And as many times before - THANK YOU for that indeed because even at the regular price - this is an incredible instrument for any player's libraries. And at the sale offer, how could I not have it? But it is now mine as well and it was well worth the investment. Brilliant as always and a very inspiring video demo again.
Pipe Organ, Royal Albert Hal, what more can you say????? This was such an exciting experience for me, they nailed it in capturing this magnificent instrument. They balanced sound selection, playability, and the performance aspects so well, it is such a joy to play. Thanks as always for your kindness and support.
@@PraiseTracks I just had to rewatch this again after watching your MOLZER review. And while Molzer is a class instrument indeed, it's certainly in a slightly different category for size in comparison. But BOTH are great. However, as I mentioned in my note to you in the Molzer review video - my hearing is failing and RAH's organ is much much brighter and for me with my failing hearing - is much better. There is so much brightness to this organ and THIS space is huge by comparison I suppose and it's such a joy to just sit and play whether I can play well or not. It's hard NOT to sound amazing on this with my limited ability. But seriously BOTH ORGANS are incredible. VSL does some wonderful things and for them I'm happy to have some of their instruments. Then THIS one comes out of the blue - and as you said - out of the pandemic as something for them to do, is an incredible offering. I'm glad I bought this. And thanks to you for showing it off so well. Again amazing work.
Hola! Junto con saludarte quisiera tu opinión y consejo. Este órgano, ¿qué tan bueno es en comparación con el Great Rieger Organ de VSL o el Symphonic Organ de Hans Zimmer de Spitfire Audio? Quedo atento a tu respuesta. Saludos!
What makes the Royal Albert Hall Organ wonderful is that it captures this iconic sound in a way that has never been done before. It would be next to impossible to include each stop separately, so the developers have provided some very well-thought-out registrations that present the organ in a convenient way to get started quickly. The Great Rieger Organ does provide each stop individually where you have a little more customization over the sound but it comes at a slight performance hit as each stop is actually a voice that is triggered and as a result can get very CPU intensive, especially with more mic positions and additional stops that are loaded. I have not experienced the Spitfire Symphonic Pipe Organ, but I do hope that I can feature this one on the channel very soon. Thanks so much for watching. Joyfully! 🎹
Do you think this is better than Spitfire Symphonic organ? I'm so in love with the organ, but i don't know which one to get. also i think this is cheaper than spitfire's Thank you for the amazing demo!!
Andres, the Royal Albert Hall Organ is such an iconic instrument and was such an amazing opportunity to be able to sample it. I am actually hoping to get a copy of the Spitfire organs soon, so I am looking forward to that. Stay tuned 📺
Andres, I just got the download from Spitfire this morning for their Symphonic Pipe Organ as well as their Union Chapel Organ. I look forward to featuring them in an upcoming livestream, soon. Make sure that you are subscribed and have notifications enabled. Also, you can follow me on Twitter @praisetracks, as I will post tweets when I have a livestream scheduled.
Yes, I knew this question might come up ;^) To me, they would be similar yet different experiences. Price is one thing. The Great Albert Hall Organ is half the price of The Great Rieger Organ at this time. They come from different perspectives. The Great Rieger Organ goes for the INDIVIDUAL stop and REGISTERS approach which can be quite demanding depending on how hard you push things. Meanwhile The Royal Albert Hall Organ goes the route of providing preset registrations that allow it to be less demanding on your computer. The great thing about VSL, is their 14 day return policy. If for some reason you are not happy with a title, you can set up a return. The elephant in the room so to speak is the location itself. The Royal Albert Hall has such a history behind it and being able to utilize this instrument is an amazing accomplishment. I hope that helps. Thanks so much for watching.
@@PraiseTracks Thank you so much for your detailed reply! I own most stuff from VSL, but I think for Organ I will go with the Royal Albert Hall one - it looks a bit simpler as well, and I don't see myself using an organ all the time. Thanks for all your wonderful videos as well!
I just loaded it up to check and it does NOT support pitch bend. That would sound pretty crazy though if you could do that, imagine a whammy bar on a pipe organ. Thanks for watching.

Enjoyed hearing the "Praise to the Lord" hymn. Amazing. I hope to add this organ to my NI selection by God's grace. Thank you for this demonstration.
