      I don't know what is Beroza.
      The powder is referred by the name Giya Pathar powder.

      Is this powder chuna?

  • @elitearbor
    @elitearbor 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The "crystal" at the start - I assume it's some sort of tree resin as lac is fairly expensive. Could you spell the words you used to describe the two resins? I can get talc easily, which is what that "powdered stone" turns out to be, and lac, well, I have bags of the processed discs which I use in woodworking. I'd love to try my hand at this, as well.

    • @JithendraVeeramaneni
      @JithendraVeeramaneni  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They call the crystals "Beroza". That part is not the Lac. Lac is the outer covering of the bangle. It is the one attached to the stick in the later part of the video.

    • @elitearbor
      @elitearbor 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you kindly! Beroza (which seems to be spelled more commonly in English as "biroza" but has no standardized spelling) appears to be ordinary, common pine resin or rosin.
      I figured it would be inexpensive, I didn't realize it would be the least costly resin I could possibly ask for - and one I have on hand already!

    Thanks for a good video!

    • @JithendraVeeramaneni
      @JithendraVeeramaneni  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, even I don't know where we can buy the lac chips and that white dust😅. The name of the stone is Giya Pathar. At the first glace, it was surprised for us to see how that powder and lac is used to make these bangles.

    • @lass-inangeles7564
      @lass-inangeles7564 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@JithendraVeeramaneni I looked it up. Giya Pathar means Giya Stone in English. It is an Indian name for Soapstone, a natural mineral rock formation with a lot of talc in it, very easy to carve. I think they use it in the lac resin to stiffen it up and make it harder. Lac is too brittle by itself. Thanks for the info, very interesting!
