    Do those tires add any height to a stock machine ? What are they called?

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes they will gain some height, stock is 26", these are 28" so you will gain 1" more ground clearance, 28" is the largest you can fit before you need to change the arms.

    How much does that setup sell for??

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  ปีที่แล้ว

      In today's inflation economy (sad to say), north of 40k. When it was build, just under 35k.

    How much would the Mule Pro fxt 1000 version of this cost?

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In todays money and inflation, over 40k as a ballpark, but depends on all you want on it. Just the cab with AC is almost 15k... in the box. Once you factor discounts and everything, I would say 40-45k depending on everything you want on it.

    If I were to get a 2024 Ranch Edition, how much would I look to spend out the door with these upgrades?

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      All the same? A ball park would say 40k+( including the mule). But it depends on all that you want, anything can be changed for YOUR build.

    Did you change the A-arms or anything else on this machine, or is everything stock except for the shocks?

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Stock arms, just added our Hester Edition Elks shock package. Fits 28s on this set up, only need to add the arms if going 30s or you want more clearance for ruts or big rocks.

    Since you added 4" of travel, shouldn't limit straps be installed to save the cv joints?

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      With our shock package OR our 4" HD lift straps are not needed as we keep it well within tolerance of the Mules. We have ranchers with 30" truck tires and our 4" lift with well over 20k miles and never have we seen an axle issue.

    Have you come up with any different front seating arrangements for trail riding? I have a T4 now and am thinking about a Mule Pro FXT for my next one, but we do a lot of trail riding and those bench seats wouldn't be that comfortable riding 50 to 100 miles over rough trails all day

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The contoured seat that is in this unit mimics the Teryx seats on the 2 sides and still super plush on the middle, this set up with our Hester Edition shock package puts the mule into the category of a Teryx with LONG TRAVEL!, truly amazing! Puts the Teryx to shame on ride quality.

      @@HesterEdition I don't know about my T4, I've had the 814 shocks(with 300 lb springs rear & 350 lb springs front) on now for about a year and replaced all of the bushings with Garage Products bushings all around and it is tuned really well. With the VFJ stage 3 clutching and Trinity exhaust it does well. I do love the Mule Pro Fxt, the quietness and clutch smoothness is hard to beat, as I've gotten older, that has became more important

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@kevinwilliams8773 trust me, the pro with pur shocks are plusher, AND you can drive it like a trophy truck, it's a mind blowing set up, been amazing. And your Rex sounds like a well rounded build for sure. We love the Teryx's!
      You can also see a video of a FXT with Teryx seats in the front in the custom mule playlist.

    Heater? Snow plow? I just learned that it snows in northern New Mexico? And us Canadians want to be snowbirds 😂

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      NE New Mexico, we are 7,000 ft elevation we get snow :), but we do build and ship vehicles all over the country, this vehicle is a local, they have a soft cab on their other Ranch Edition.
      This is their other one.
