I really want to make my own builds.. but I just get stuck. My knowledge of uniques isn’t great since I only started playing in heist, and only have around 1000 hours and most of that time spent was following guides and I feel like I never learned anything. I get stuck because I can set up a pretty vanilla build, life, res, defenses and some regular damage. But I can never figure out how to push the build further. :/
As someone that is about 400 hours in and just following guides I feel like the proper way to play is actually SSF and learn how to craft. That's what I plan to do next league - basically play a less complex build like Arakali but take it slow and learn the entire crafting system.
@@inzaniatelcontar4600 as u gain hours in SSF. u learn when to craft and what to craft. Zizran runs a Poe University video series for free. he posts it on his YT channel. it's pretty informative 😂 and pause-able ! lol
As always man, you never fail to amaze me. If you are looking for even more challenge try building a melee character , but with a skill different than cyclone. I am sure you can come up with something crazy , because you know - you got the currency , skills and knowledge. Damn again , what an awesome budget friendly build.

I've built something half decent but for the life of me get fucked by something that degens me. 103k armour, 90 all res (125+), Max block, 7.2k energy shield, but I can die rarely to degen. I recall you mentioning it in one of your videos but can't remember which. Any help would be awesome 👍
After many leagues since legion i made the effort again to farm a hh in week 2 or 3, absolutely amazing how much more money you make once you can start blasting juiced mapa
I hate how all viable builds on this game need to go for armour (besides cwdt), it is frustrating to want to not fuck your tree going for armour + determination on builds that this does no fit
Cold BV doesn't need armour literally, you just need big aoe and 90%++ chance freeze (besides from crit), I'm doing 30 wave simulacrum and some 100% deli map without die, and off course it's not bossing viable
It would be difficult. Can do less than 100ex early in a league but it's the number one meta build at the moment so prices are high. 2-3 hours a day is different for everyone. If you know how to craft for profit than can be 1000ex a week. If you just alch and go map that's more like 40-50ex.
hey subtractem, i was wondering how you proc arcane surge? with the pob given, its attached to flame dash and whirling blades, but you dont have a mana cost on either of those. thanks!
Throw it in with sniper's mark or assassin's mark. Most pobs cheat to make dps a lot higher but arcane never procs. If not with a gem, use notable in your cluster, forgotten the name but it'll replace arcane heroism or another. It gives arcane surge when you channel for 1 sec.

you clearly miss a % somewhere like gloves implicit/purity of ice level, and btw, you need to cap it with items, melding just up the maximum resistances, it doesn't fix your resistances at 90%
Okay I know it's cast on crit forbidden rite occultist...but when is that ever said in the video? Or title? Description? I just think it should be somewhere. When people search TH-cam for videos on the build they won't find this one.
Should it be? One could argue that the initial investment of 50-60ex before demand and inflation is considered a little steep. I think they'll leave all of the Support and Skill gems alone. They'll just nerf the shit out of aegis and melding because they think that too little investment for that much defence.
It does not make sense to reveal your currency making methods to thousands of people until you have already made enough currency for your build and end league etc
hi, i got a problem. i have PoB Triggerrate of 10.07 with an onslaught ring and an no evade dagger . But if i use the onslaught ring my cyclone oftentimes doesnt hit. i can stand in a pack of 30 monsters and no enemy gets hit for like 2 seconds sometimes. this even happens with bosses. Do you guys have any idea what could cause this? without the onslaught ring and like 9,2x triggerate everything is fine and smooth.
Are you capped crit and if so, does this only happen to a certain group of expedition monsters? Are your rocking frenzy charges that you’re not aware of?
@@alluo1009 thanks for replying. yes crit cap, everything. i have basically the samish gear as subtractem in his mageblood build. its even bosses. i can cyclone though sirus for 10 second without his bar moving in his last phase. its like delay. no frenzies no. i also think that the triggerrate is based on the client, so server lag doesnt come into play either (which is like 80 ms now).
@@subtractem i figured it out. its a combination of boot enchant and too little reserved mana. the self inflicting projectile doesnt get cast bc the cyclone robs too much mana initially. so i need to get hit, which doesnt happen often, so i have long streaks of zero projectile casts. thanks for the hint.
Technically, you can, since transitioning from Bane-Occultist to this is pretty smooth. You just use your 'levling'-build for a much longer time than usual xD

@@JunCroccifixioWayne his chest alone is around 200ex, the pc onslought ring another 150 or more the skean idk 300ex? and that crown is probably a mirror if not more even among the top dps guys i´ve seen only 1 like that

bleed shouldn't be an issue with corrupted blood immunity and the minor pantheon, ignite on the other hand... can get kinda sketchy so I might try to get that avoidance on my jewels like subtractem has
@@nunyabidness9765 You need very specific flasks that do not include bleed options (reduced mana, armour, speed, etc.). I guess I could change one, but I am not sure how that will work. I am looking for jewels with reduced ignite.

So I only play in some of my free time that are not real much. I Real like this game very much so I want ask if You can make a build that can be real strong in dps and in defences but easy to make it for a casual player like me? Aura 100% - far superior to anything.

Is there any reason you choose Awk Add Chaos Dmg over Inc Crit Strk Dmg? I imported your PoB, it shows Inc Crit Strk Dmg gives more DPS.

Swapping the aura effect for light of divinity would be an upgrade. How do you counter the frenzy on kill IAS?

Aura effect gives me lots of defense, swapping it to light of divinity is like 1.5% more damage. Not worth.
cant tank tentacle boss boom mechanic... as it ignores all defenses, block, spell suppresion, everything and just kills you.

how are you getting arcane surge without an arcane surge on hit ring? is it just from flamedash while mapping and arcane heroism on bosses?
Only for unique monsters. Which is fine, the damage is so high and mana is solved so it's just bonus single target.

It's only for the pob since the Cluster jewel Arcane surge does not register in pob.

I've shown this build at all investment. It is very strong before a mageblood or global defenses armour as well.
Doesnt the frenzy implicit on your dagger mess with your APS?
Because of the timeless jewel keystone we actually can't get frenzy charges.

My other guess is maybe a mana issue? Do you have a skin of the lords with a keystone that doesn't let you crit?

it's occultist forbidden rite coc. it's defo at least 2+ mirrors, prolly more like 3-5 i imagine
so it's about as strong as a 200 ex skelly mage build
