- In 1998, the 4x100m relay team at O.D. Wyatt High School ran a 39.76, which broke both Texas and national records. To this day, the time has yet to be beat.
Duncanville beat the record today at the Rice Invitational and finished second. Atascosita anchored by Jelani Watkins beat the record by almost a full second. First HS 4x100 team ever to go under 39 seconds. It was amazing.
These young kids aren't faster and stronger than before. If anything they are weaker and more distracted than ever.
Houston area school now holds the record in a brilliant sub 39 sec performance!!!!
Just got broken today bt Atascocita High School
They did it from lane 1 with all that centrifugal force.
Just seen this record get smashed by two teams, Duncanville & Atascosita.
With the latter breaking the National Record.
They just got smoked by two teams. Still impressive. Records were meant to be broken.
So happy for you guys!!!!❤
