Their gestation period is around a year or longer and then they take care of that baby for a long time after that. And considering how big they are it probably takes them a while to reach sexual maturity, I wanna say it’s around 20 years of age. I could be wrong there though. It’s sad that our race has done these things to these poor animals.

I have a friend that is an ornithologist that specializes in nest searching. He worked on saving the Hawaiian humming bird as part of his graduate degree. Last time we met on a fishing trip I asked about the status of the bird. He said it was grim and it most likely be classified as extinct soon.
Good video, but I suggest when speaking about a specific species avoid using footage of another species. Use the one you are talking about to increase awareness of their physiological differences. E.g when you covered Sumatran Elephants you showed Asian Elephants and Javan Rhinos you showed White Rhinos.
