The round disk is for the spinner, not the washer. It is clearly written on it and all other such washers have that disk for spinner as well.

Esta describiendo la máquina de lavar. Se lava en el lado izquierdo. Luego se pasa la ropa al lado derecho para exprimir. La máquina es muy liviana pues es plástica. Amazon vende varios modelos similares. Se usan mucho en aptos o casa pequeñas o en casas rodantes con paneles solares.

Which is best washing machine fully automatic or semi automatic
If you have the option to get a fully automatic one, I'd highly recommend that. Personally I received a semi-automatic one as a gift and I'm just waiting for it to die before upgrading. But a fully automatic one is much easier in function.
