Never in my life did I think I'd find a strategy to beat a Vanilla playthrough by watching a challenge video, but you did it! I've never been able to get past Repliku after Destiny Islands, but thanks to you, I think I can go back to this nightmare of a game and actually beat it! I had a massive amount of respect for your ability to play games in stupid ways and still make it work!

You should be able to deal the final hit with the master sword's beam attack.
Gamechamp3000 you probably don’t pay much attention to suggested challenges, but I recently played through BotW without using the y button (melee attack) and it was one of the most fun challenge runs I’ve ever done. I highly suggest you give it a try
Did you know Nintendo got it's start making Hanafuda cards in the 1800s? Tragically, they are completely useless inside of Castle Oblivion!

To note a thing I noted for one of Gamechamp's early streams of this: there are codes you can use for this game to set your level to the max level, since you don't get any bonuses through level up other than the ones you choose (which would be skipped by going from level 1 to max level) you can do this to simulate doing this run with an exp zero skill.

Priorities: Healing till full HP, preloading, and finally attack until you need to heal, reload, or your opponents face ceases to not exist.

The "Use friend cards to easily stack Cura without consuming any one of your cards" Thing is the first strategy I found in this game and it helped a ton.

As amazing as all of these runs are, I just wanna say that THE best part about watching them is just how soothing your voice is in combination with good script writing. Keep up the good work.

Another Kingdom Hearts Challenge:
Keyless: Beat the game, post-Tutorial, on the hardest difficulty, without dealing HP damage via the Keyblade.
More details:
Coating your Keyblade in energy to strike counts (such as Counter Kick in KH3). Thrown Keyblades count. Final Form swinging the Keyblades as you use Magic counts, if they hit anything.
What doesn't count: projectiles that aren't your Keyblade (such as blades summoned by KH3's Ultima, or the "Lights of the Past" in the Union X section). Striking for 0 damage (important for Data Axel in KH2, since you can't KO him without removing his flame floor). Striking things without natural health bars (no you can't turn off/not have Scan to loophole; yes you can decapitate the Hydra in KH2). AOE attacks that don't involve the keyblade (Beast's Limit in KH2 is fine, but Auron's involves swinging).
I beat KH2 entirely with this challenge, defining the Tutorial as the Roxas section.
KH3 is in the works, with the Tutorial being pre-Olympus Colosseum. I beat the Story, and am 4/13 of the way through the Data Battles.
For the future KH1, I'm considering if Tutorial is post-setup (once we can start level grinding with Wakka), or once we hit Traverse Town.
Well for kh1 wouldn't it start when you get the keyblade as the island falls to darkness?, since the wooden sword is not really a keyblade

How many players can say they beat Critical Xehanort in KH3 without slashing him? ESPECIALLY SINCE he requires you to do this to get out of the forced Rage Form.
How many KH2 players can claim they beat every Boss without bludgeoning? Including all Mushroom XIII (that juggler outside of Yen Sid’s tower...), Data Xehanort (cutscenes without HP bars are OK), and Data Axel (if he stays at 1 HP, you aren’t damaging him).
@@LocalMaple that's impossible. Critical Xehanort has extreme damage resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, magic, poison, and even Goofy-type damage. how could you possibly kill him without a slashing weapon, such as the Katana Keyblade you get from defeating Weeb Form Mulan?

1. Get to level 99. Getting Stat Up isn’t required at all, but might be once I unlock him in Data mode.
2. Go out of your way to beat the Flamtastic 7 Keyless. You’ll need their reward. (I think also the Lucky Emblems).
3. Switch from high-cost spells to lower cost Fira.
4. Bring along Tangled’s Keyblade.
Xehanort wielding the X-Blade has four phases. Start, Pressured, Rage, and Limit. Build up a Firaga during Start, then force him quickly into Pressured. As soon as he warps up to rain down Dark Firaga, use your Situation Firaga (damage + I-Frames) and charge up your Shotlock to full. You’ll gain more I-Frames and reduce him down to 1 HP. This bypasses Rage and Limit entirely, allowing you to skip straight to the Situation Command that ends the battle.

In the original version, it had more risk, with the run being completely reset along with the timeline. And of course it also had better script. (Making a joke and also a reference to the 4kids English dub of the DM Anime.)

Re:CoM has pretty similar challenges. Probably the most common one is no HP+ and no sleights for extra challenge. It's surprisingly pretty fun and puts enemy cards to good use.

I started a CoM Lv 1 before I ever saw this video and although I agree; and i want to try it now with a limited deck; I did allow myself to learn sleights and maximize my usage of CP. It wasnt easy and I left the game alone for a long time saved at the 1st Marluxia. But then your video inspired me to finally finish it. Thanks again!!

Eric G I don’t think she specifically mentioned sexism but chat did, and it was implied. The best reason for me is that it’s sexist against men and women simultaneously (plus just gives bad vibes)
Fun Fact! While playing as Riku, when you enter dark mode, you can actually double jump! Doing so will position you directly behind your opponent, and if you use an attack midair you can execute a falling slash that leaves Ansem just stunned enough to double jump again! You can do this until dark mode wears off (which should take be a while, if you're only powering up dp), and it is a very useful strategy for beating Ansem once your deck is whittled down to only high cards/zero cards.

From the wording of the intro, I'm guessing everyone requested "do chain of memories" not thinking to specify the remake, because why wouldnt gamechamp do the definitive version but instead gamechamp decided to troll them all

I played KH3 recently (haven't finished it), and I ended up using the strat that GameChamp did in her KH1 LVL 1 playthrough: give all your elixirs to Donald and Goofy in hopes that they'll accidentally heal you.

Also gamechamp if you see this I got past ansem riku and linked world's a while back in my kh1 level 1. Used blizzard for the dark balls, and used stop and gravity for the invisibles, then proceeded to simba everything else. only thing to do is beat world of chaos since ansem 1 and 2 are easy

I was playing through the games last year and I made it to the very end, at the last door which needs cards that add up to 99 to get to the final boss. I didn’t have any because I went into some of the bonus rooms so I spent over an hour grinding to get 99 total value and entered the door and I shut off my PS4 to go to work. I got back, and the game crashed.
And I didn’t save.
And that’s when I watched the rest of the cutscenes online

I remember this game. It made no sense, because I'd never played any of the other games. I also mostly remember making a deck that was too big and getting stuck because you can't remove cards in the same screen you add them and I was a dumb child
