  • An informational video from CPW's water quality section on blue-green algae. Toxic algae blooms are seen across the United States and have become more prevalent over the past decade. Colorado Parks and Wildlife started monitoring for toxic algae blooms starting in 2015.

      Excess lawn fertilizer and farm fertilizer, even organic fertilizer (manure) runs off and into lakes.

      You should be thankful that she took some effort to make this video the way she collected different type of algaes how much time and money it would have taken to do that and you are saying that she did not help anyone ofcourse shr helped bu collecting algaes and showing their types

      @@meandmybro5387 I don't care what you think.. she collected different types of algae and said most of them were the same thing the video was stupid she didn't educate anyone on anything other than cyanobacteria is bad and that's not even completely trure. Now you can go point at any pond you see "yep..that's blue green algae..seen it on youtubes.." that's the kind facts you want fine but she should learn more about her topic before going around teaching people half truth... done with this topic too busy breeding fish is my very healthy green water algae aquariums..good day brozos
