PbaBowling, That was a fantastic upload of the Friday 5 Moments from the Pba That features the Moments from the Pba Tour Finals. Also, The Moments that stood out were the Roll offs during the 2nd game of the Group 2 Positioning Round, both the Stepladder Finals of Group 1 and Group 2, and the Championship Match.
I might be in the minority, but I am not a fan of what appears to be staged chanting. It appears to be a specific group in back and they must be getting a sign on what the chant on. I am a fan of the type of interaction we hear with Packy encouraging the crowd. That is more off the cuff and sounds better. Manufactured fan participation is not better than piping in cheers.
I was there all weekend. It's was a bachelor group that was starting the chants and fellow fans joined in with them. No staged chants. No forced chants. Just a couple of dudes having fun and the crowd joining them
I had the mute button on the whole tournament.

All that chanting and hollering made me think I was watching professional darts not bowling.
When did the audience start cheering during the players shot? They used to be quiet. I would be annoyed by this...
Packy Hanrahan encouraged the crowd to cheer when he was bowling and it just continued. It's actually better, because if someone's phone goes off, or there's some other distraction, it gets washed out by the roar of the crowd. These guys are Pros and cheers from the crowd don't bother them.
I do wonder if whoever is testing these comment bots is affiliated with the PBA account specifically. Kind of odd that there’s one summarizing the video and one commenting the video name on every single video they post. Then again, it could just be someone unaffiliated using the PBA channel to test their own bots.
There's only been 4 winners of PBA Tour Finals: Anthony, E.J., Belmo, and Kyle. Why can't any other bowlers win this event? 🤔

My first job was at that bowling center. 46 years ago. Man am I old!
I wouldn’t be able to concentrate if I had constant chanting when I’m bowling, it would go in the gutter instantly

They are the best. That's kind of how this works. Big sports networks aren't going to televise amateur bowling.
@@AV8R_1 I’m sure that there are other pro bowlers doing things in the PBA..I mean it’s entertaining to watch but this can’t be all that’s out there…

I have seen a lot of mixed opinions on the chanting. I don’t mind it so much but I also didn’t watch the entire thing on TV so I can see it maybe getting annoying like others have said.
Is it something they only do for some tournaments or is this gonna be the new normal thing
Only for some events. They wouldn't do this for the majors and stuff like that

I think it's great, because it gets the crowd more engaged. As long as it stays positive, and they don't derisively heckle the players, it's fine.
Can we please go back to the days of the crowd remaining silent while the players are taking their shots? I really do not like this. It's not only disruptive for the players but even everyone who is watching.

That hooping and hollering needs to get booted out the door. There was a time when the PBA maintained a professional atmosphere of mature adults who respected the bowlers. Sounds like a bunch boozing college boys raising hell at a football game. Disappointed at the proprietors.
Go home grandpa. There are some kids on your Lawn that you have to shake your fist at.
