I am so sad this series is coming to an end. I have enjoyed every episode of it! I've never actually seen the finale of Wishbone before, so I did not know this one existed.

i was actually surprised by how well the themes gelled between the two stories - it actually made me think of the Aeneid in a new light, with the focus on looking to the future and the past while battling through the present ~ thanks for this series!

This episode seems to sum up the entire Wishbone series. Also not me tearing up watching this, even though I was only able to watch Wishbone occasionally as we didn't have PBS when I was able to it was such an important show as I connected to both Sam and the reading part of it. I don't think I've seen the movie so looking forward to that.
I also had a tear in my eye during that final scene with Joe and Wishbone 💔

Will you do videos that cover the 14 Wishbone stories that exclusive to the books? You can even do a Episode vs. Book video as well and also I would love to see you do videos on cover all The Wishbone Mystery and Wishbone: The Early Years/Tales of a Pup books series as well.
No, I won't be discussing those books. This has been a nearly 5-year-long project with almost 50 videos - I'm ready to move on after I cover the movie!
I totally understand wanting to move on, but maybe after a break I would love to see this done as well.

@@abookolive I remember as a kid I thought there would be more episodes and new ones never came. Did not have internet then so I would have never known that they ceased production.
