To be fair, it’s important to note that much of Hope’s displayed power in TO was linked to the Hollow being within her. Yes, she still has a ton of power just by being a first born Mikaelson witch, but a lot of the larger, flashier stuff that we *saw* then was partly bc of the Hollow. I do think we still get to see things like Hope locking Klaus inside for example in Legacies.
She is fearless like her mother She is powerful like her father She is loyal like her uncle Elijah She is beautiful like her auntie Bex She is smart like her aunt Freya She is merciful like her brother Marcel She is tough like her uncle Kol And she is also broken like a MIKAELSON “always and forever”

Realistically it makes more sense that she would have fears in using her full blown powers. She is a TEENAGER. What teenager isn't boy crazy/girl crazy. Plus she has this tremendous fear over losing people she loves because she has lost 99% of her family. Which means she has trauma. Losing one more person is and does break her. Plus she has to do something that she doesn't want to because becoming a vampire is a scary idea to her for a number of reasons. Being the one who has to kill her boyfriend to save the world is something that no one should ever be called to do. Especially someone who has already lost so much. Killing Landon/Malivore literally broke her. She didn't decide to flip her humanity switch it just happened. Which is the equivalent to Buffy killing angel to save the world and run away to LA to be Anne for a whole summer.... Now that Hope's humanity is off I'm sure you'll get the ruthless killer y'all want to see. But I prefer to see character development and actually be able to relate and empathize with a character. I enjoy the show and have enjoyed getting to know Hope as she was in the originals. Now I look forward to a darker side of the show and maybe we will get to see what the witches prophesied about in the originals. But note, there is a way to kill her so let's hope it doesn't end that way.

Thats why I litterally stopped watching for awhile. I had hope again fot a second on episode 3 of Season 4. It felt like Vampire Diaries and The Originals vibe and in my opinion is the best episode in Legacies.

Not embarrassed but they would want more for her. For her to live her own life and not share the burden of protecting someone self. They’ve spent their whole life looking after and protecting each other (in their own way), it was hard for them to. They would be proud to see her, always.

Because they intentionally wanted to make it into a different genre, and make it more of a teenage girl drama show. The writers can't be nearly as good either, but that is the root of all bad.

With all the seriousness that came from the originals, legacies doesn’t expand upon that when it comes to Hope. You don’t feel the weight of the circumstances like you did in the the Originals. Just wish it was just as sharp and intellectual like its predecessor.

I love this edit. In my opinion Legacies did a very subtle job of showcasing her power. The twins always show how badly black magic affects them. After everything that happened to Hope it just makes more sense for her to always reel in her power. In the show, she uses her power when necessary. There are times when she does spells with the twins while getting siphoned. I did not think it was necessary to defeat the monsters but I believe it helps Hope reel in the amount of power she can project with the amount of power the twins take from her. Everyone knows how much power Hope holds but people can easily turn against her if they fear her wrath. If she was arrogant or irresponsible, then yeah, we would be seeing the extent of her powers. I want Happy Hope.
The friendship between Hope/ Lizzie and Josie is way more WhOlEsOmE than her relationship with LaNdOn!! I like them together and I ship them too. But she has a Tri-brid, Mikaelson legacy to carry on. Her life CANnot revolve around Landon and Landon ONly!!!!!!!
This video almost makes legacies look good, guess that it had the potential to be actually good, shame that they didn't know how to work with the characters and the plot that they invented, The Necromancer is a good character, Clark is, malivore is too, gosh they even had kai for a few episodes, there was no need to fill the show with some random monsters that almost break the whole tvt universe mythology and no one cares about, I feel that legacies is like preparing a whole banquet but when the time to eat comes you sit on the floor drink milk and eat some cookies, it's not bad but it could be sooo much more

I hate legacies doesn’t show her full power, she’s a first born Mikealson witch with the power of 3 supernatural creatures she has the potential to be so dam powerful but they portray her as a normal witch (not saying normal witches aren’t powerful but she has the power of a witch wolf and a vampire, I hope once she activates her vampire side and becomes the full tribrid we see her more powerful

In my opinion Legacies did a very subtle job of showcasing her power. The twins always show how badly black magic affects them. After everything that happened to Hope it just makes more sense for her to always reel in her power. In the show, she uses her power when necessary. There are times when she does spells with the twins while getting siphoned. I did not think it was necessary to defeat the monsters but I believe it helps Hope reel in the amount of power she can project with the amount of power the twins take from her. Everyone knows how much power Hope holds but people can easily turn against her if they fear her wrath. If she was arrogant or irresponsible, then yeah, we would be seeing the extent of her powers.
I want Happy Hope.

This video almost makes legacies look good, guess that it had the potential to be actually good, shame that they didn't know how to work with the characters and the plot that they invented, The Necromancer is a good character, Clark is, malivore is too, gosh they even had kai for a few episodes, there was no need to fill the show with some random monsters that almost break the whole tvt universe mythology and no one cares about, I feel that legacies is like preparing a whole banquet but when the time to eat comes you sit on the floor drink milk and eat some cookies, it's not bad but it could be sooo much more
They really fuck this series up. Legacies could have being better 😔😔😔
