Carl and Fiona's relationship was honestly one of the best on the shows - I think he was the one who treated her with the most love and respect. And this scene in particular is amazing because earlier in this episode Frank tells Carl that he's disappointed in him or something about how he's not his son and now Fiona's telling him she's proud of him and that matters more to him than anything ahhhhh
@@KydzPlays Exactly! Ik that William and Joan got it, i wish actors who played Lip, Ian & Mickey got it too Maybe i am just wrong But yeah, especially Emmy deserves it What do you think about actresses who portrayed Karen & Mickey's sister? Frank's grandma was funny Monica was great portrayed too

1:36 honestly made me sob frank has his ups and downs but what always made me furious with him is how he lies and manipulates his loving children for money, he was so ‘proud’ of carl for participating in all the drug deals and getting all that money, but the second he wanted out because he saw the dead body of a boy, franks disappointed in him? it made me so angry and i just cried when fiona said she was proud of him, because it just shows how different people they are
This was when Fiona knew on a real level that she often 'Did A Fiona'. She told him, "I promise not to lose my temper", and then he felt safe to talk to her. Later on her temper was entrenched into her personality (due to trauma), and she didn't realise it freaked the others out.
