Matt Stagmer Hey Matt, do you guys at MAA actually consider all of the build suggestions made on other videos? It always baffles me how many people are unable to separate the shows.
It looks like if you try to put it anywhere near a wall, you have to worry about turning and breaking off parts of the chair. The raised center of the table makes it impossible to place a laptop there so you're reduced to working along the edge only. And I feel like the table itself should have had a larger circumference to be of use. Overall seems more a decoration than practical.
Big Mo I'm pretty sure they make them all as use, especially the Groot Swing, Batman Stroller, Iron Man High Chair, Carbonite Coffin, and pretty much all of them really. The Iron "Throne" was hooked up to the plumbing.
Big Mo I think you mean the Final Fantasy kitchen knife set and yeah..those were usable knives. And the LOTR litter box...also usable. And the Up dog house and Bioshock fish tank. All usable....not saying they will use them but Tim makes them to be used.

I'd love a Star Trek build. I'd love to convert one of those arcade rides that you get in (enclosed) and it simulates a roller coaster ride or ??? Outside like a Shuttle from TOS and inside seating for several people...with video ride from Earth to the hanger bay of the Enterprise... WOW what a build THAT would be!

It was so neat how you took something with such a relatively strange and hard to work with shape (at least in terms of this kind of thing) and got creative with it to make something cool and functional that is still faithful to the original ship design.
i would like to nominate my brother is the biggest fan of fallout, i have no idea about it but when he walks up the stairs i hear him singing, and also he makes sure he gets every exclusive game with i don't even know, anyways it would be amazing if you could do something for him he is graduating high school and i would love for him to have something that is special about him.

I think the desk portion is a bit too small and while it's cool to have the bridge that acts like a USB hub, it's position it's in the way. I really think they should've used steel or aluminum tubing for the skeleton of this desk. Cast the desk top out Fiberglass or cut it out of wood. In the center make a hole and mechanism for the bridge to be raised and lowered. Use the tubing for the wire runs. Leave some empty space under the desk top for storage and have hidden hatches to access them.
Sigvulcanas You don't know the fiberglass durability..my father make kayaks and planes with it..if you use it to desk don't have a problem..if you jump in it or make orgies is other thing..XD Wood make it really more expensive..and put steel or aluminum skeleton i the polyurethan/foam rubber..mmhm...
Sigvulcanas I think the impracticality of it goes far beyond the durability. The chair is clearly too small for this guy, and it provides very little support for continued use. I look for comfort first and foremost in an office chair. When I'm working, or let's be honest.. gaming, for hours on end I don't want my back or ass to hurt. If you can get around the shape and size of the desktop then the chair is clearly the next issue with this build. Honestly it seems like this would be more of a display piece than a useful piece of furniture.
CravenTHC These guys are not cutlery or furniture makers, they're prop makers. What they make needs to last the production of a movie or TV show, it more or less needs to look good. I can't blame Tim or his employees for what they build stuff out of, they work with what they know which means foam, resin, and paint. As artists and aesthetic builders they're great, but I would like to see them work with more practical builders.

Just for fun. :D Main disk = Saucer Section/Primary Hull Warp pods = Warp Neccels Enterprise hull = Secondary Hull Radar dish = Deflector/Navigation Array/dish Engine globes = Bussard Collectors/Ramscoop Also the Neccels don't provide propulsion for the ship.
Would anyone else be interested in a longer duration, in-depth edit of these builds? What would you be willing to do to support that? Patreon, Twitch, sub, etc?
The chair I'm not crazy about, but if someone built me a replica TOS,TMP or WoK Captain's cabin for my personal bedroom, I wouldn't mind but have always been too poor to do that on my own, can't even afford a fraction of the stuff that guy has.

But they just made a follow up series called "Super Gamer Builds", though Tim did not appear in its pilot, so I doubt he's coming back. But Erica was in it so I assume she's the host of this one.
