    I absolutely love Jung, he’s an absolutely top lad he’s really giving it a good go to be fair to him. He’s getting taught by one of the best as well!

    Although I'm not a mason, I have had to split a few blocks on occasion. I feel your pain when you're so close to getting it split then it cracks. It happens to everyone. Jang is hilarious by the way. Keep making great videos. And, a big hello from Pennsylvania.

    Great video mate.jang starting to thrive on his job👍 think I'd enjoy this challenge more than simply laying bricks all day ..bit more varied..guess not a great earner though.enjoying these block work videos a lot. Not seen many on your channel.cracking job chaps..even without corfu Dave...lucky bugger🌞👌

    Hi there.
    Nice work Mate.
    I have a question for You:
    I am a 46 years old man looking for a career change.
    I am really keen on brickwork.
    I am thinking about to enroll myself in a bricklayer course.
    What do You think about that?
    Am I stand a chance in the Market?
    How is the market by the way?
    How to get into the industry?
    Is there age bias?
    I am good with numbers and measures.
    Strong and agile right hand as well.
    Focused and team player.
    Could You give me some insight please.
    Many thanks for your attention.
    And keep up with the videos.
    They are really inspiring to watch!!!

    instead of notching the blocks do you not find it easier to bed up 1mm per course over the next 20 courses and get it level ? just saves the pain of cutting concrete block.

  • @sherwin1988
    @sherwin1988 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Stu could you not of cut slices of the blocks to bring it up to the joists level then layed a new row down?? Saves notching out, and cutting a 30-60 whatever mm thick slice with the saw would be loads easier. Ta.

  • @user-yz3pj3vl2z

    Why do you make 10 cm block insulation and bricks? Don't you ever get cold? We in Russia make a 30-40cm block + insulation and then facing bricks. I'm just curious? What is the coldest temperature you have in the cold?

    • @andrewmorgan2642
      @andrewmorgan2642 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      -10C would be a very low temp for north of England. Last few winters only a very small amount of days have been below 0C.

    • @AlfredTheBrave
      @AlfredTheBrave 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hated that job serving my time as it was the apprentices job to do the beam filling and hated it just as much when I’d to do it as a full time served bricklayer and I’d rather have my mortar made on site by my hodsman as he knew the way I liked it, softer for facing work, bit more stiffer for the stinking rotten block work, yes I hate block work

    Why wouldn't you just build up in-between the beams with concrete bricks all round then move over to concrete blocks... Surly that would be faster?

      Beacause the shit company there working for probably don't know they exist.or can't be bothered buying them.barrett sites used to buy in thousands of them.there easy to use to get blockwork to height instead of spending all day cutting down concrete blocks.all big sites around london always have loads of them on site.we used to call them bricketts.
