I logged on just to Thank You ! I am repairing one of theese ... I was sure it's the thermal fuse ... but I found a wire hanging around. I paused on your video to find the solder point on the Nidec motor - and was one of those 3 wires that you mentioned at the end. the red one ... just snapped. Thankyou so much for this vide. It's really valuable for our wives .... :)
Thank you for the video! The explanation at 3:22 was exactly what was wrong with the 'refurbished' model my wife got on eBay. The heat clearly still worked, but the fan didn't spin. Easy to take apart, find the problem and fix with tweezers and soldering iron! Took me 20 minutes and the thing works like new!
O meu soltou um fio preto,mó seu vídeo vi onde ele é soldado e resolvi o problema, esse secador é muito bom ,ele é leve e muito potente, seca rápido os cabelos no meu salão de beleza!!!! Obrigado pelo vídeo
Thank you for sharing. I have a BaByliss Pro VOLARE very similar to the one you showed. It stopped working. It doesn't turn on. It began having faulty starts. My wife would move the cable at the handle like pushing it sideways and it would start fine other times turning switches on and off several times would make it start. Lately It just doesn't turn on. Do you have any advise or idea on what might be going on?
It’s could be the chip on the board, but I think it’s more likely some cable contact problem, open it up and change the cord cabel probably gonna be fine after.
You don’t have to cut anything, usually different diffusers, one open on the sides, and one closed comming with the hair dryer or you can buy on ebay for cheap price.

Good repair explanation
What tool is used to unscrew the screw holding the piece on?
I can’t seem to find a screw driver to open mine either.. I was hoping he would go over that.
@@bethanywilkins4524 It's called torx screwdriver.
I love that hairdryer!!
I bought this hair dryer model in Russia. And I haven't cool-shot button. Turbo mode instead
