He’s one dimensional for me, but I guess that dimension has served him very well. I’ve liked some of his songs, but generally, drake has more well known work to fall back on. I don’t hear a lot more drake than I do the weekend, and for a lot longer. Talent wise, the weekend is a better singer, but I think in terms of their respective genres drake is in far more inventive projects. He’s had a much more versatile music career, whereas the weekend has always been pop.
