It sounds like you are making things more complicated than they are. Jesus made a promise and sealed it with His blood. To say the same thing a different way, Jesus made a promise He was willing to die for. That promise is He will give salvation to everyone who believes in Him. Let me show you what I perceive is going on with you, and we can see if that is the beginning of progress; if not, we will try something else. I perceive your motives are indeed not where they should be yet, and not because of your suffering. You seem to be trying to work your own salvation. You appear to not yet believe the promise of God can overcome your past and present, your trauma, your unworthiness. What if it does not matter if you are unworthy? What if He is capable of brushing off your past and treating you like you never did any wrong? How would your life change if you saw He could do that? How much credit for your salvation do you want to keep for yourself? May the Lord grant you His peace and open your eyes to see the glory of the promise He made.
You're not alone in that. I've struggled with that and still struggle with that now. But trust me when I say that through your questions and struggles God will see you through. I'm more secure in my faith more than ever before because of my suffering. God uses our suffering to bring us closer to Him and it's for our best good.

Is Christianity a merit based religion or have lukewarm Christian’s simply cherry picked an easy way to acquire salvation❓ Jesus: 🚨“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor?” James 4:12 🚨“No wonder you can’t believe! For you gladly honor each other, but you don’t care about the honor that comes from the one who alone is God.” John 5:44 🚨“Those who speak for themselves want glory only for themselves, but a person who seeks to honor the one who sent him speaks truth, not lies.” John 7:18 Will everyone who confesses to “believe” or claims to be “saved by grace through faith alone” in Jesus enter his kingdom❓ 🚨“Someone asked him, “Lord, will only a few be saved?” He replied, “Work hard to enter the narrow door to God’s Kingdom, for many will try to enter but will fail.” Luke 13:23-24 🚨“You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. Did Jesus warn us about the consequences of our words❓ 🚨“The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.” Matthew 12:37 2. Did the Apostles warn us about teaching our Father’s words❓ 🚨“Dear brothers and sisters, not many of you should become teachers in the church, for we who teach will be judged more strictly.” James 3:1 🚨“Keep a close watch on how you live and on your teaching. Stay true to what is right for the sake of your own salvation and the salvation of those who hear you.” 1 Timothy 4:16 Does that sound like your salvation is guaranteed by “believing” or “faith alone”❓ “Ignorance of scripture is ignorance of Christ”, it’s that simple❗️

Are those not works❓Did Jesus ever claim that the consequences for refusing those works no longer applied to those who “believed” in him or were “saved by grace through faith alone” ❓isn’t this an example of a “merit based religion” or was Jesus lying❓
🚨“Wake up! Strengthen what little remains, for even what is left is almost dead. I find that your actions do not meet the requirements of my God.”Revelation 3:2
Actions❗️Requirements❗️Is Jesus not God❓Are his words not truth itself❓Did he not clearly state actions❓Are actions not works❓Are requirement not performed by actions❓or was Jesus lying❓
Judas is a prime example that being saved “by grace through faith alone” or simply by “believing” are in fact false gospels preached by either ignorance of scripture or intentionally to lead others astray❗️
Judas had God’s grace when he was picked as an Apostle and through his faith was given the power to heal the sick and cast out demons by Jesus himself BUT it was his one action/deed/work that caused him to be condemned by Jesus himself❗️
People claim to have “faith” or simply “believe” as those Jesus himself encountered and yet he said the following to them❗️
🚨“You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.” Matthew 17:20
People don’t have enough “faith” or “believe” enough to move mountains but they claim to have enough “faith” or “believe” enough to guarantee their salvation before God can render his judgement⁉️ Is it not God alone who decides who will rise and who will fall❓
🚨“It is God alone who judges; he decides who will rise and who will fall.” Psalms 75:7
🚨“God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor?” James 4:12
🚨“No wonder you can’t believe! For you gladly honor each other, but you don’t care about the honor that comes from the one who alone is God.” John 5:44
🚨“Those who speak for themselves want glory only for themselves, but a person who seeks to honor the one who sent him speaks truth, not lies.” John 7:18
Will everyone who confesses to “believe” or claims to be “saved by grace through faith alone” in Jesus enter his kingdom❓
🚨“Someone asked him, “Lord, will only a few be saved?” He replied, “Work hard to enter the narrow door to God’s Kingdom, for many will try to enter but will fail.” Luke 13:23-24
🚨“You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.” Matthew 7:13-14
🚨“Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.” Matthew 7:21-23
Doesn’t someone break God’s laws by their actions❓What happen to that easy way in “by grace through faith alone” or simply by “believing”❓or was Jesus lying❓
If anyone’s OWN understanding of scripture from the Apostles words lead them to contradict Jesus’ own teachings then they have misinterpreted scripture‼️it’s that simple❗️
🚨“Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings.” John 8:31
“faithful to my teachings”‼️
⚠️Warning about Teaching⚠️
1. Did Jesus warn us about the consequences of our words❓
🚨“The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.” Matthew 12:37
2. Did the Apostles warn us about teaching our Father’s words❓
🚨“Dear brothers and sisters, not many of you should become teachers in the church, for we who teach will be judged more strictly.” James 3:1
🚨“Keep a close watch on how you live and on your teaching. Stay true to what is right for the sake of your own salvation and the salvation of those who hear you.” 1 Timothy 4:16
Does that sound like your salvation is guaranteed by “believing” or “faith alone”❓
“Ignorance of scripture is ignorance of Christ”, it’s that simple❗️
