Hey Paul. Your videos are always great. I know your camera setup it's never perfect but what are you using to film this video? Camera model/Mic? Thanks man

Travis Elliott ha! and these older videos I can't stand to watch because of all the video/lighting/audio things wrong. Now my new videos are much better (IMHO) in those respects. Main camera is a Panasonic, but I'm really not that crazy about it. At the time, it was the only model out there that shot 60p at a reasonable price. Canon now has 60p VIXIA cameras. My second view camera is a much older VIXIA, but I still like its controls and everything much better. A new model VIXIA would be my first choice now. Wireless mic connection is a Sennheiser.

Thanks for the info Paul. I recently bought a go pro hero 4 black and am going to give it a go. Lighting is my biggest issue right now. Garage is pretty dim. I'm looking forward to doing some shots with the cam attached to tools and work pieces with the go pro

    Hello,
I'm a fond admirer of your work, and always enjoy your humor.
I just opened my BoomArm Package today, which came with 50mm / 1M hose, which seems a bit odd.
I presume you're running a 36mm / 5M hose, hence, wondering whether your hose came with your set, or did you purchase it separately?
I want to maximize the suction power, so wondering whether you'll recommend going with a 50mm / 5M hose (with the 36mm or 27mm adapter), or will you simply recommend 36mm / 5M?
Appreciate your thoughts on this matter at your earliest convenience.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and wisdom; keep up the great work !
    Kind Regards,
    Jerry

Well, it has been a while since I received mine and they do change what comes in the order especially since the DE line has changed a lot since my CT-22. But, I put the D27 in the boom arm (for a while, I had a D36 and adapter on the end for tools; this was annoying). I also have a 1m D50 so it likely came with the arm. It is to go from the CT's front port over to the boom arm so you can plug the hose you put in the arm. I used velcro straps to attach that free end to the base portion of the arm. So the issue I had with the D36 is adding the adapter for D27 ports as now you have this loop of D27 hanging down by the tool catching on everything. One solution would have been to re-thread the power cord through the arm to have an extra foot at the end so the cord + adapter end at the same place, but then you'd have a loop of power cord for D36 tools (which is arguably easier to manage even with a rubber band). I never tried that change. I now have the wrapped hose and power cord. So far, I like this. And also, thanks for the compliments :)

Definitely like it; still on the CT-22. Much prefer it with the Sortainer under it cuz the drawers are good for crayons or calipers.
