the most important thing is to cut out the frequencies you dont need on a sound, never boost any sound. just use EQing to cut them so that they sound tighter together
Not to sound like a diva, but honestly doing it the way I did there made sense at the time. You might be right in that taking the mellody further would have been better. But since I love techno so much I just made the last part of the track more enjoyable for myself to listen to. If you have any ideas of your own to add or improve upon to the track you can just remix it. A good remix of this track would easily get feautured on bfx.com and thus getting airtime on ABGT and other shows. Just sayin
Its hard to put it into the comment box of youtube but i will try, basically the main synth send a sound to a separate channel where there is a delay with is infinte long and its then filtered through a EQ where only the mid harmonics is left, the whole channel is muted during the breakdown but then right as the breakdown is over the channel is slowly unmuted. hope that makes sense
Come on, you can't tell him what to like it's his opinion on what parts he likes, anyway i was waiting for this for a while and it was well worth the wait!
Absolutely stunning track Naden, I was blown away by the production value when I first heard this, great job. Can I ask how you did the delay on the plucks that came in around 1:45? I tried to imitate it using tape delay and got sort of close, but couldn't quite hit it. It sounds to me like the send for the delay is eq'd with a hard high pass filter as well. Just my guess. Thanks!
I forgot to say that there is alot more that happens after that, there is also a grossbeat that lfoes the volume in a sinewave right at the takeoff to make that sucking sound, also the stereo out of that delay gets played with too
It never fails to amaze me how huge your tracks can sound whilst not losing clarity and getting a muddy mix. When i try and make stuff similar to this is just sounds like shit.
come on Naden - you came up with a melodic beakdown that's literally out of this world, and you ruin it with some monotonous beats afterwards? if only you could give it another go

its just an arp going on in the background with the notes, and then 100% wet delay ontop.
also the delay is clicky because the synth behind it har an extremely sharp attack. so its like glassy
Ah ok, much simpler than I expected haha. Thanks for the reply and keep up the fantastic work.
fantastic work here!
That epic feel when you're sinking mentally into this masterpiece.
Keeping Trance Music Alive!

3:13-3:42 Why did it have to stop:(
I agree. Those 30 seconds were amazing.
Agree. Theres a reason artists repeat stuff. Naden should do this too for the sake of his listeners.
Good things start here 3:10
DIRTYVEVO likes this tune.
good things start from 0:00 to 6:59 ! Trance is not all about qlimax and main melody man ;)
no dislikes..
