Wow, it took you 8 hours.
And there's me who cries because I take 2 hours for a small painting. I was acting way too tone deaf. I thought 2 hours was a lot. But you took 8 hours to draw this beautiful picture, and that made me realise that no matter how long, art is art.

She mainly uses the water color brush with low setting. Just go to her hair tutorial and you’ll see.

May I ask what size image you use or what size canvas you work with? I always have a hard time getting my paintings to be less pixelated (Medibang)
B L A I R I like to work with size that is between 1000-2000 pixels; however, I don't really go beyond 2000 pixels unless I do commissions

Guys, which is better? Medibang, Krita, or Clip studio?
Diegonator Bertran Medibang is very simple and generally self explanitory and is directed towards manga/comic making and paintings. Krita is towards animations and paintings. It's a little bit more flexible, and should be a bit easy to pick up if you screw around with the program a little bit. Clip Paint, I know nothing about. But in the end, it all comes down to how you are able to use the tools and what you need to achieve your desired outcome.

Anna B. Well I just bought an intuos comic which came with a 2 year trial of Clip studio, so that's why I was wondering which one to use. Although I'll still try out all of them :)

Could you explain to us how you layer everything without it getting messed up? Like shading everything?

The more i watch artists speedpainting actually makes me improve..
Its because by seeing the process you will actually know how to reproduct it and you will know what you have to do in your painting, and by watching speedpaints you are seeing how the artist blends, how their process works from rough sketch to final product. You also will know where to highlight and when to darken.

What was the purpose of Clipping layer 3, 5,6 &7??
Zodiac Queen for me, the purpose of clipping is to make detailing and shading a lot easier. Everything does not go outside the parent layer: example is "layer 4". Therefore, it's less messy and easy to clean up.
