Nah, think about the cost of living too + salary of an average american and an average Filipino. The portion in the Philippines is just really shrinking. The salary shrinks, the portion of food you can buy for 150 shrinks. It just ends up cheap for most foreigners because the conversion of their money becomes big in the Philippines. That just means our currency is low as hell. An average American can live like a king in the Philippines .
I agree with those facts but also just in general the US will add more sugar more food and more sodium to all our foods for a reason… im Colombian but born in the US and I can tell u that when u look at the nutrition facts on each item in other countries, they give u the correct portion so u don’t get diabetes or high blood pressure from all these foods. The US welcomes it and the reality is there are more chances of u seeing a 400lb person here than other countries. I’m not saying that fat ppl don’t exist in other places but over here we have really OBESE ppl. Based on my experience, the US portions were definitely more generous and had a higher quality. One thing I can say though is that after eating a 1 pc. Chickenjoy in the US, I was already sick of it compared to the PH Jollibee where eating 1 pc. leaves you craving for more. It may be due to the fact that the PH Chickenjoy had bony-er chicken pieces which was well-suited with the seasonings and breading they used.
Even other Food Store like McDonald's and KFC in other country Size of serving is much bigger to compare here in Philippines. You cannot enjoy that you still feel hungry because of minute sizes of servings
The difference about US and PHILIPPINES is that, both of the countries makes jollibees depending on their country Tastes example, philippines likes spicy while americanos likes sweet or like something, but in the philippines getting gravy is literally your the one to adjust because jollibee in the philippines is FAMOUS, and so with the famous environment experience the costumers has to adjust considering the cashiers cookers and the assemblers has to focus on those people with big orders so they cant have much time on walking around poaring gravy on people's gravy pots.
