Just got one of these delivered from Amazon Prime for about $20 total. Works spectacularly. It is difficult to find a good, clear FM channel in LA with all the stations here and from San Diego and Mexico, but it does a great job of overcoming any background RF.

I've had this exact same one for about a year and never had any issues with it. I think the only complaint is the screen has gotten scratched over time but that is completely my fault. Product wise, it works just as perfect as it did day one. Doesn't get in the way of my manual shifter while shifting, audio really never has static, unless I'm on a very strong radio station (one already playing music clearly). I keep it on 89.3 or 90.1 depending on where I'm driving. Would definitely recommend. I'll never go back to any trash aux cord again.

I noticed that my albums are double folders see one folder it's the name of the artist click on it, there's another folder it's the name of the album, click on that it's the list of the tracks. These types of files won't play will they? How do I correct that? Each track shows m4a is that alright? Even with the devices volumes maxed out and my phones volume maxed out I still have to have my volume in the mid 40s, as opposed to my normal low 20s, just to be able to hear it. Anybody else have this problem?

It could be grounding issues, badly insulated rca cables, antenna grounding poor, or could just fix with ferrite beads as it's got the audio lines running through the power section which is a no no but am glad it has the charger poor despite which is why you need the ferrite beads but to say some shit like you know what you're talking about it sad....

I usually keep the transmitter at vol 28 (which is what its preset to) and adjust the audio sound by the radio adjustments (bass, mid, treb)

Chad JDS from my understanding, you need to sync it with a “blank” radio station manually. I don’t believe the device does it automatically.

I don't think that is possible. Off only when the ignition is off.

A tiny tiny bit, not enough to make me reconsider the purchase.
Only reason you'd have static is because of frequency. Find a station that is dead and set it to that for the transmitter for better quality.
