The k in Zwirnknopf is not silent, it’s German. ;)

Fascinating. I saw in another tutorial that rubbing beeswax on your form will help the thread to stick and not move.

Yes, it is something that I have recommended for many years for beginners. Eventually (in most cases), you won't need it when you are more practiced.

Thank you! Always fascinating to watch you wrap these buttons- although, I have to say, that I could not see your needle placement so well by the last round 🌸

Thank you so much. I will be moving the new camera much closer for the next button video!

Been loving your videos for the various buttons as I've just done my first button. I know you've done a video for a needle keep/magnet, but do you think this would work as a magnet if placed behind the bottle top? Many thanks x

Yes, I've seen others do this! You just need a strong magnet so the metal of the cap doesn't interfere.

I love this button! I have started following Yoko's Instagram as well. Do you know how she does the bouquets that are wrapped in a fabric with a bow? I would love to learn how to do those. Thank you!

That button is based on the traditional Dorset button bouquet, but Yoko has cleverly substituted ribbon and or gauze. x

Love your demonstrations but the camera is too far away for such detailed work. Maybe you could zoom in a bit. Thank you for all the great videos.

Thank you so much! I've just moved my set up and am still working on getting it right, so I really appreciate this feedback.

I'm so glad I found your channel! I noticed that you also work with wire. Have you ever tried wire bobbin lace weaving? You seem to be the best person to teach this 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤

I have to say I have not tried bobbin lace with wire, although I have used real metal threads. Hmm. That's food for thought! 🙂
