Can’t lie this was quite a good event, other than when I came the BO kicked in my face in East Grinstead, you wouldn’t believe it, lmao I wasn’t the only once complaining. 😭😅😂 Other than that you always keep delivering best videos as usual, keep it up.
I wasn't even aware that this one was a trident, let alone a voith one with 4 gears 🤣🤣🤣. My main ones were the 180 all those years ago and the 321. Which chassis do u prefer on a plaxton president (Trident or volvo B7TL) and which gearbox transmission would go for it (voith or ZF). Once again bro another W video 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🔥🔥🔥
Yeah man, "TP" Trident President! And yeah it was just the 52/03 plate TPs which were 4-Speed. The ones from 2002 and older all had 3 gears. And I sure do remember some videos of the PJ53 B7 Pesidents down in SE London! My personal favourite are the Voith Trident ones, Voith B7s not too far off for me. As for ZFs I like em too... not as much as I do voith though 😉
@@Frozzles They mostly did long routes. With one of them that had a Euro 4 engine and a high speed diff i think it had no limiter as it did close to 70mph and still wanted to keep pulling.
This was limited to 59 when I bought it - but I had it further restricted to 50. Trident engines don't like high speeds and if the engine blows the bus will most likely be scrapped rather than repaired.
This bus performed so well🔥
💪🏾
I rode her too!!! She was such a musical beast!!
Yeah very nice bus 🙌🏾
OH BOIII😆!! I'm with you when you said it's been 10 years since you've been on one of these 🥲
same
I remember going on them on my local 260
Exactly!!!
Man this was an amazing run. I enjoyed this
My childhoods! Miss Em!
Same man!
Great find. I hope you had fun.
Thanks, indeed I did

Yeah a certain bus did have a strong smell to it 😭
But yeah thanks man 💪🏾

Oh I didn't notice, myself 😅

Now this, is my type of video
💯
You know! 🔥 Childhood
Nice video bro
Thank you!
@@Frozzles your welcome bro
Which one was better this one or the other plaxton
I prefer TPs more by a bit, but action wise I preferred the journey on VP614!
@@Frozzles 🙌🏽🙌🏽
I wish they could come and do north London routes
They once did! W8, 217, 263!
@@Frozzles hopefully they can do it every year like the low floor running day
When Stagecoach East Midland had some Plaxton President bodied Voith Tridents they could do 62mph on a flat.
Yeah I’ve known stagecoach to mess with the limiters whenever they need to for the routes their tridents did

@@jamesgalbraith1892 Tridents up here went through alot of engines. They're ok at 50mph but after that get a bit buzzy.
@@jaggass Yeah, engine replacements due to excessive speed is something best avoided in preservation!
Grew up with these on the E2 alongside it's current VWs, very notstalgic
You had it niceee man! It was TAs/TPs/TEs for me at Cricklewood!
