Nice filming. Interesting crossing set-up here, almost like a smaller version of that seen at the one just outside of Wallingford, though I'm not really a fan of the current equipment as seen here (and nearby at Lydney Junction). I was lucky enough to see the previous set-up with its very faulty alarms here in action when I went to Lydney in 2012, shame that's now history tbh.
UK Level Crossings & Trains Channel Thanks mate 👍 I quite like this crossing as its something different that is (currently) quite uncommon in the UK. I'm not too bothered about the old equipment as I knew I wasn't going to be able to film it anyway
looks like custom wigwags to me! very strange automatic crossing too! i do remember there is another crossing a bit bigger and very similar to this one. cant remeber its name though!
This crossing was all made by a company called Schweizer Electronic. There are only three examples of road crossings they've installed but they have installed loads of lights for footpath / user-worked crossings. An example is Buckenham crossing in Norfolk.

UK is very nice and interesting country.
Great video
Thanks 👍
Alarms sound like an MSL
These are the same alarms used on the 'Schweizer' Miniature Warning Light crossings
These lights are slower, but look like brand new LEDs like at every crossing I've seen here in Texas
The whole crossing was installed in late 2018, replacing life expired equipment, so it wasn't a year old yet when I filmed it in 2019.
Nice vid
Thank you 👍

Durgahee Rejss Yeah, the lights there are very unique and custom
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel I thought that alarm sounded familiar.

Nice

oo a new upgrade
Its not so new now, it was completed in October 2018
Why do they never blow the horn/whistle at crossings so annoyong
Trains don't have to use their horn before passing a crossing in the UK. Trains usually only use horns when there is a 'whistle board' sign
Im 15th to watch
great
Thanks 😎
Choo choooo
ahh cool a bit like jJefferies But a AHB not a MWL level Crossing
Jefferies is a Bombardier crossing, but this is a Schweizer Electronic crossing so its a little bit different.
