I'm self-refurbishing my old panigalle 1199. I'm having a wonderful time. Friend. Right now, I'm trying to solve valve gap and gear position issues. I'm going to praise you for your passion
I have watched all the videos of yours Real story bro Whenever I watch them I fall asleep Not because they are boring but because they are so relaxing I am not even kidding Found this channel 3 days ago and my afternoon nap happens watching your video Thanks for the awesome content and looking forward to more amazing video I have one request to try doing a Yamaha R1 video Love from India 🇮🇳
Bike looks great. Regarding painting the wheels. Over here in the UK bikers tend to have the wheels powder coated these days. It's a tougher finish and lasts better.
This Bike went so nice. This Gas Tank is awesome 🤤. Well done ! Best youtube Channel to chill in front of Tv. You made me buy another Ducati. This Channels need much more follower!!
It takes a special person to have the vision and revive this bike to its former glory. Great video mate! You inspire me to start tinkling with my street fighter v2!
Heya. Great video. Totally agree abd will keep it in mind for next bike. But next bike, well that's only a maybe because I love my GSX650F. 2010 bike so injected. Same price range with super low miles. Bit heavy 230kg wet, but for a newby rider, stable and just lovely. Buy one and see for yourself.
Great colour choice, great job as usual, you always seem so calm, hey if you ever fancy a busman’s holiday I know of a much loved ZX10R C2H KAWASAKI over here in the U,k that would be so perfect for a custom re-think , I know your the Duke of Dukes but hey ,said with tongue in cheek on the end of a huge compliment, thanks for your videos, they’ve kept me entertained 🥷🙏🏻👍🏻
I wish you'd shown it being ridden, the bike looks and sounds amazing!! You should be incredibly proud. I wish my V2 looked like that! Love the VanDemon exhaust ❤❤
@@oneL Actually you've got me thinking. I owned a 900S2 back in the eighties and I always thought of getting another. This might be the push I need. You might be building another after some looney 66yr old drops his new Ducati. 😂😂😂😂
I was very skeptical beginning at this vid. You won my heart with all the grit hard work long hours. Honestly very impressed with the total build cost to performance/style ratio LOL. Yeah that's worth. Oh... paint jobs sucks... I know, i know. Painting bikes parts IS NOT EASY
@@oneL Ok fine you get a pass LOL. It does take some practice. Not sure if you used a tach cloth? Something you can get a local auto parts store. Gets all the little pieces of fuzz off before you spray. Bike parts in general are just a pain in the a$$ because due to the shapes. I also highly recommend a respirator. Those paint fumes will hurt you bad. I am honestly impressed with what you did to the tank. That actually looked great !! Your doing good the way you lay the paint at first... mist a little at a time and building it up. Got a feeling your gonna be a paint pro in no time ! (not that I am justsayen)
What a fantastic video. I've subscribed. Can't wait to see more from you. I have a V2 and looking at an exhaust system, but not sure which one. I like the Vandemon, but I need to mount a licence plate and I've got the NRC tail tidy, so believe it may clash with the twin mufflers. Vandemon also have the under bike slip on, which won't clash, but I read some bad reviews on Vandemon... people saying they're made in China. Not sure what to believe.
Great content….only discovered your channel today, love it. We need more Aussie content like this. How did you go about finding the last owner, I’ve rebuilt a crashed Harley and would love to get hold of them.
Chiller !!!! Hey mate, the owner and I found each other through a common local rider friend. I actually think the auctions should give you an option to ask the old owner questions….that would be cool
@@oneL cheers… yes they definitely should it would be good to know history on bikes…can understand why they don’t, plenty of dodgy people out there these days. Keep up the great work! You could always do an old tractor up aka Harley on the channel. 🤙🏻
Dont apologize for anything mate, only a mistake if you dont learn from it. Ya should be apologizing for showing the Kiwi- bit of you from the T-Shirt sleeve up line then Aussie -bit from T-shirt sleeve down. Wicked Kent
Stunning (re) build, very well done! It's just the tank that I hate - sorry. I'd go black on the tank and introduce some Italian flag colours on the trim or in subtle areas as an accent. Safe riding!
Fixing a crashed Ducati with 30.00 clutch and brake grips. Not the best area to skimp. Plus it looks like u are missing the metal piece that slides into the rubber, it’s not a lever issue.
Those brake ducts are dumb. The problem with brake overheat isn't at the rotor, it's at the caliper. Directing air to the disc is nonsense. Throw those in garbage right away
Heh, watching a video like this - and you're someone who totally knows what they're doing - seeing all the problems and setbacks, I'm reminded why this is not the hobby for me. The track trashed 1200 multistrada sitting out the back will remain untouched by me, and the sparkling 2021 Panigale sitting next to it will just NOT BE TRASHED. Also I'm bookmarking this video in case I'm wrong about the last point. Also, you should consider making a 5-10 minute hilights edit of this video for people like me who are more here for the Ducati porn. ;-)
lol not even mate I’ve rebuilt two Ducatis on a 23k a year salary lol like op said just gota know where to shop haha and btw a ktm is a lot more expensive in parts then a Ducati lol the Austrian company is probly one of the most premium pricing on maintenance lol
Watching one hour and 43 minutes, and to finally hear that sweet sound of a real ducati V2! Fantastic job! That's the only sound a Duc should make!
Hell yeah Peter!

Also u just take the mistakes so well... I'd throw a major fit, most likely
It looks amazing. Love how it came out.

Next time you do paintstriping use a pressure washer to remove the paint after it sits with the stripper on it makes it 10x easier !!!
Ahh cool nice tip thanks 🙏

Keren banget 👏👏
How do you know the frame isn’t bent? Front end looks solid, but rear May have take. A hard hit
I’ll be having it checked by a pro but from the overall it looks like a lowsside slide with gravel rash, no major impacts obvious
It's too nice to be a track bike 😊
Thx Carl 👍
Beautiful
Thx Clayton
Question…. Do you know if the v2 subframe wound fit on a 959 I’m trying to do a tail fairing conversion
TBH I have no idea. But I'm leaning towards NO
what about a little rip around the neiborhood??
Didn’t get time, sold so quickly….
noooooo, you are kidding me, well good on you mate@@oneL
$8200 for bike with delivery to Australia? Or you bought it in Australia?
I just want buy crashed panigale V2 and rebuild it for track
Bought it in Australia. Doing another V2 now on my channel
Bravissimo, molto molto bella
Thx mate
Hi, just out of curiosity, where do you get the crashed motorcycles?
Normally from auctions but there’s also a place on Melb that has quite a few:
Adrenalinpb.com.au
@@oneL ok thank you very much. very cool this, too bad you don't know about it in Italy/Europe too
1:43:15 gosh! Sound’s amazing!

2:38 so you bought an illuminator...

Dude put ohlins ttx 36 rear shock please
I love mine ❤ I live in Australia
Nice John 👍
How you find these I wanna find one and rebuild it
Auctions roger…… pickles/Manheim are the best
Hello, who did you use for transport
Trans to bris: I think it might have been RoadHog
I guess things cost a lot more in AUS. You can buy a barely used v2 for 14k in the US. Nice build.
Yeah they are creeping up again In Price tbh…I think I was lucky to get that one
Aprilia 1100 for sure! Tuono or RSV4
Yeah I’m building an RSV4RR at the moment 👍
The red you left on the tank is fucking with my OCD bad 😂😂
Please tell me you finished it properly
Great vids mate
Hello from Austria, Ducati Club #tirol 🇦🇹 This bike and this video is amazing 🤩. I have the brand new V2 Panigale from 2023 ..
Awesome Angelo 👍👍👍👍
Where do you find these wrecks?
Either at auctions or at www.adrenaline performancebikes.com.au
Where are you located
Brisbane, Australia 👍
did you end up selling the bike ?
Hi Dave yes straight away, I have another 2 for sale now
Where does he order parts?
I get a lot of my parts through sponsors or scouring eBay globally
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🍻🍺
Wrecked RC 8C
Oooooyeah! 🤞

До ремонта мотоцикл был красивее, даже разбитый
Could have bought a low mile used one for about the same you paid for this
Maybe for an extra $5k
I thought it was a joke leaving the tank bare and a Ducati with no red is not a Ducati
Yeah if it was a road bike build I would have left some red on It for sure!
About the air intakes on the brakes….nah 🤮
Yeah we didn’t use them in the end…
Dent in the tank and horrible paint quality makes it look like a bodge job.
First bike I ever painted….had to learn somewhere 🤷🏻♂️
