Having one Atk% 3-cost Echo also seems to have more value than two Glacio damage because the Sonata Effect gives a lot of Glacio and Skill % damage, so the bonus from Glacio 3-cost gets diluted. Her signature with it's lower base Atk and high Skill damage buff further increases the difference between Atk% Echo and Glacio damage. Well, I've got a lot of pulls saved up and my next pull is guaranteed thanks to a random Encore in a 10-pull I did right after I got Camellya S2 on the last day of her banner to try and get Lumi (I did). I'm going to check out Carlotta in the trial soon, and play the story to see which character I like more, her or Roccia. Either way, I'm pulling for Zhezhi first since I should be close to soft pity with all the pulls I have plus the free ones. She'll make my Jinhsi much stronger, and if I end up pulling for Carlotta, her too. But even if I don't end up getting Carlotta, I wish every Carlotta wanter to be a Carlotta haver.

The calc depend heavily on the rotation since her echo and substat are generally rounded down and team comp is quite static but the difference is minimal. The number is always between 14-20% for SIG VS Static Mist and 10-15% for New Echo VS Old Echo. Roughly 30% for S0R0 with old Echo VS S0R1 with new echo Zhezhi VS 4 star sub dps like Lumi/Taoqi is about 20-30% and Idk about her quickswap calc in double DPS team assuming S0R1, usually those are closer to her optimal team DMG than with 4 star support so maybe 10-15%?

Love how fluid and fast charlotta feels but man do I not wanna pull for zhezhi, her kit is just not enjoyable to play for me. I hope we get another support that’ll pair really with with charlotta they don’t need to be on par with zhezhi but at least fun be fun to play. Great video nonetheless looking forward to building charlotta up and seeing how well I can make her work at F2P investments as I’m still recovering from camellya banner.
I know what you mean about Zhezhi, but unfortunately her buffs synergize so well with Carlotta I don't think they'll release another support that'll come close anytime soon :(

But I'm still a bit "on the back" regarding having to try and pull zhezhi just to improve her, as a F2P, I won't have a way to pull for a 5* that I don't like just to improve Carlotta... and I have 40/80 on the weapon banner, do you think I should go for the weapon then?
Hey Sweetily, happy new year! There is something I didn't understand. I see there is a red crystal displayed on Carlotta's forte bar, sometimes it's missing. How can I obtain it? I see there's something with her basic attacks and skill that sometimes display it, sometimes it doesn't and I can't quite catch how. I mostly got confused with this when I tried to keep her on field longer
How's her rotation with S1? It seems she can get full Forte with just Intro + one Skill, but there are still constraints from her ult energy, skill cooldown, and maybe heavy attack cooldown.
Yeah I feel like her S1 doesn't actually change the rotation much, since even though it gives her extra forte it doesn't help her with any of the other aspects you mentioned.
Im a new player and i play on playstation. Im looking at the team rotation, can someone explain what A3 A4 A5 and E is? HA i assume is heavy attack. i assume A is attack but if it sais A3>A4>A5 does that just mean attack 3 times or is it 5 attacks? like why does it start with a3?
Welcome to Wuthering Waves! E is skill, and A is basic attack, so A3 A4 A5 are the 3rd/4th/5th hit of the basic attack. When you swap to Verina she will continue with her 3rd hit (vs the 1st hit), so that's why it's A3 > A4 > A5.
no synergies with yinlin, and camellya really wants her own team to enable her rotations, she will work a lot better with changli/xly/rover if you're just looking for a quickswap dps teammate
pulled her from like first pull and now i don't know should i invest in her... don't have neither zhezhi nor 5* pistols and unlikely will be able to get it (mb sign but def not zhezhi)
Camellya w/ Sanhua might be the strongest due to their synergies, and Jinhsi has Yuanwu/Mortefi for the 4*s. Carlotta is very strong vs single-target but her 4* teammates are a bit lacking (Sanhua is nice with her quick outro rotation but she doesn't actually buff Carlotta that much)
I've been using Yinlin's weapon on Zhezhi since her first banner and it works great. It's a bit less damage on her sure, but it's not enough less to be worth potentially 60-70 pulls.
Yea not a huge fan of Zhezhi either. She is too simple and straightforward. I much prefer Yinlin cuz Quickswap but honestly double DPS team is my fav type cuz I'm really not a fan of outro buff preventing quickswap
@@zeromailss I just leveled Carlotta to 90. I'm using the ice set with 65+/270 for now but the damage without her weapon and Zhezhi doesn't look impressive in ToA. Her liberation is 9/10. She and Changli (also no limited weapon) can cleared ToA without problem but maybe I should pull Carlotta's weapon too. 60k on the first liberation, 40k x4 shots after that and 110k on the second liberation
I think so, if you like her and are missing a DPS. If you're on the fence, I think you can also save and wait for the upcoming characters, I have a feeling the other new characters will be really fun to play as well.
Lumi is mostly a dps character with a support outro, and her rotation with Carlotta is also kind of clunky (I believe she ideally gets a double intro to let her deal dmg + to get her concerto up). If you already have Sanhua built, I recommend just playing her with Sanhua for now. Their rotation timings sync up really well, and despite the lack of buffs, can enable Carlotta to rotate quickly and deal more dmg that way.
Her S2/S3 is very strong, and I would say on par with Camellya's, but you'll find that she excels in different content vs Camellya. Camellya will be queen in AOE situations especially in events like the Pincer, but Carlotta S2/S3 will be a lot more comfortable in open world + boss fights, the freeze is kind of op.
Oof, I lost my first 50/50 of 2025 as well, but maybe you can think of it as getting all the losses out of the way early in the year..! Hopefully you have better luck in the future

If you don't like Zhezhi but want to make Carlotta stronger, I think you should go for the weapon.

What about baizhi? She buffs ice damage with one of her sequences, her rotation is not that slow if you pump her with er.
Baizhi also works if you don't have verina/shorekeeper!

It has a 22 second CD, once you use the special HA it uses it up!

The 'stronger basics' that activate after the ultimate are the same, it lets you activate them by pressing ultimate or basic after her 1st ultimate.

the difference is between 5 to 10%, it's not that big considering that you need to stack the zhezi weapon passive to gain an little advantage

moonlit works well, but if you like zhezhi and want her to deal more dmg, the new set will have a higher ceiling (but also takes time/effort to farm)
Personally, I don't like playing as Zhezhi, so hopefully we get other supports in 2.x. Pulling for Carlotta still because I like her fancy moves.
