I would love to have those mini springs as am on lowering springs and want to revert to factory springs
Which lowering springs do you have? I preferred the Swift springs over stock.
@@ColinLeung I am not sure which lowering springs are presently on the car (R56) but its too low and I want to revert back to factory springs so I was asking if I could purchase the factory springs you removed from your mini.
On a different note, does the Suzuki swift springs fit the mini perfectly and if yes which swift
@@1Hotdaddy Unfortunately I don't have the stock springs anymore. I'd suggest checking ebay if you want OEM.
Swift was the brand of springs for the Mini Cooper. It appears that they're discontinued.
Hey man, good to see a fellow San Franciscan on here! I was hoping to do this on my mini too to improve the ride quality since it rides like crap down 19th. It doesn't seem to have helped your ride at all though... I can hear every bump there. Any ideas for a softer ride?
I'd suggest softer springs, changing the shocks, and getting softer/larger tires. The roads on 19th ave are pretty bad for any compact car. A truck or SUV may have a softer ride.

The R56 rear suspension and R53 struts looks like are the same do you know if are direct install between both gen? Awsome videos !
I did a quick google search and it says for R56 coilovers to fit, your R53 will need the Rear Trailing arms from the R56.
Nice video, question in regards to tire wear, did you notice any side effects on the tires after riding w the springs?

I know this is over 2 years ago but I want to know if you did your research before choosing swift over h&r or eibach.
Hello Tommy, I recall reading forums and people recommended the Swift springs over H&R and Eibach based on the spring rates, drop and ride comfort.
does this car have bluetooth?
mine does, but it only works for phone calls not music. I think back in the day the quality wasn't good enough for music.
Your link to the camber plates no longer work. Are they the SPC #67630 or hopefully a cheaper alternative?
It looks like the SPC #67630 will fit based on the application guide. I noticed the link didn't work as well... and couldn't find another on Amazon. I'd search ebay/online for R56 camber plates.
