Dbz kai, or dbz abridged might be good places to start I'd recommend abridged, since they put a lot of humor into the story, while not straying from the real plot.

DBZ Abridged can fix that. I know it got me to like DBZ. Its kind of like comic books except there is no good way of getting into them if you don't know how.
