Such a quality track.. but there is a a slight pause in the first 2 mins... and every bloody time i listen, i think youtube paused me haha! gets me everytime... youtube autopause sux.. esp. when having a bath! :)
And it's even more of a masterpiece as time goes on. They could have been like oasis and released the same album 137 fuckin times but they changed, they moved and got a different groove and fuckin blew the roof off the place with this album and took no prisoners. I fuckin love and cherish this album. Respect ✌️🙌
Good version with Robbie Maddox. Shame they had to pull out of headlining Glastonbury a couple of months earlier, could have maybe been a different story regarding the future split, televised on Channel 4. As it was it ended up being a major career moment for Pulp as their stand in. There was already strained relations between Brown and Squire on this tour though apparently.
Ian is a god, he is a total front man that is underestimated big time....a fuckin genuis (Not one of that fools in the apple shop) lyrical master a total bornwina
William Cairns Hi I'm having the same problem. Seems the only way we can hear them is live, bcos Album versions are blocked by copyright. At least that's how I see it. If you find something out I don't know let me know. Cheers mate
Fred Blogs Nightmare mate, I found a version of it on Spotify but it never let me play, always went to a different Roses song. You could try and see if it works for you but apart from that I've seen nothing else mate
Robbie only has one snare sound, fucking loud, no ghost notes, saw this tour and it was really good, missed reni though, Robbie is a great drummer though, no disrespect, he did a fucking great job filling in on this tour
This proves who the weak link in that band was even with the silly piano player in the background. Maddix was a qualified drummer. Just the god like genius that was the shit show during this period.
If you're talking about Ian Brown, he sounds good on this. He has his own style, no other frontman, apart from maybe Verve era Richard Ashcroft, could front the Stone Roses.
It's raw AF its great. Shame the replacement drummer plays it too fast....leaving his groove nowhere else to go. It's like he's too excited....but he just about gets away with it. Which is amusing.
Air guitaring this bad boy all over the house
Squires best of a generation on lead .
I reckon Bernard Butler. Squire close second though.
@@berlinocelot
My arse Butler. Nick McCabe and Squire.
@@lucasm3879 lol McCabe. Sure, mate.
@@berlinocelot
You don't rate McCabe?? Have you heard The Verve's first two albums?? I'm guessing no.
@@lucasm3879 Yes mate know all about the Verve. McCabe couldn't hold a candle to Butler's work on the first 2 Suede albums.
I don't listen to music anymore but couple times a year I go on a roses, brown, strokes, fnm bender for a day.
good audio.
Pure class!!! Saw them in June at hampden park" best night eve!! Legends!!
Purerly genius musician
Love that guitar break at 1.08!!
Squire was on it, so in the pocket! Exceptional guitar playing.

@@bengalgangster nope, didn't even know it was a thing! Thanks, I'll check it out :)
@@mattgilbert7347 hope you like it
Listened again from 4:10.
Squire is a legend.
It's obscene. I've seen Squire a few times live and he's on another planet
Maddix isn't a bad drummer at all! Amazing on this
Didn’t even notice until i read this comment hahahaha
@@MadeOfStone02hahaha me too
Maddix very underrated. Top drummer.

I love the second coming . It's a true fucking masterpiece .. Noone can possibly dispute that can they????

John is at his best here it's a pity it's not Reni but it's tight
Mani unreal here
Total fucking class
One love
Who says they couldn't do it live ?
that guitar is amazing
Impressionante
Sweet!
Attitude made music
Look at the CD cover above mate. Its all there. Play and Amazon have got it.
Maddox ain't bad, just not as funky as Reni. Squire is amazing on this.
❤️
There's an acoustic guitar from 5:46 does anyone know who is playing that?
It’s keyboard played by Nigel Ipinson
John Squire with his feet
Oh come on tomtasker, the drumming is so laboured... Only one reni in the world, no drummer can even come close to the genius that is Messiah reni
squire on fire
simpley fucking amazing

Squire wrote this song. Ian is a good songwriter and a great frontman, but this all John on this tune
I still can’t understand why americans do not listen to the stoneroses
Me either and I'm American.💎
Anyone know where I'd be able to get a version that isn't live?

New Year reality brown, squire, mani, maddix
@@TutorialGuy127 Nigel on keyboards too
where did you found this song?
the stone roses are free music oasis are never be free.
great Square better than metall
Reni is the best drummer since John Bonham
That's not Reni playing
its Maddix
Maddix is a half decent drummer but to brash and hard for the roses. His technique didn't fit the band at all.

He really is terrible live...yikes
