Donkey Kong - Vic-20 +16k - Real Hardware

The official version for the Vic-20. I'm not a big fan of the arcade game, but I liked this version (probably because I can get further and it's running on a Vic-20).
You can have different difficulty levels and one or two player games (taking turns).
0:00 Intro sequence/attract mode
0:30 Default difficulty
8:30 Hardest difficulty

I had a VIC-20 and never knew this was on it. Quite impressive.

I never knew that this VIC-20 version ran abnormally fast.

If the Vic-20 version can manage all four levels, the NES version has NO EXCUSE.

The Ti99 version doesn't even have animations like the Vic and it's16bit.

Since i,ve seen the entire version of this gane,i do wonder why this version does have all levels and cut scenes & intermission screens whereas the later atari 7800 version does not have all levels and not the intermission screens and cut scenes (except the ending screen)
Heck even the later C64 lacks those intermission screens eventrough it has all cut scenes and levels,it’s just something really beyond me because atari ported those games to it,
Heck even nintendo’s own nes version lacks those cut scenes & intermission screens including 1 level,what a shame because even the version on the more older more infirior C64 system is better,what a shame from nintendo because even the sequel on the nes just have all levels,
Yes nintendo did had remidated this 27 years later on the limited wii edition with the upgraded nes version pre-installed on it BUT still it lacked those cut scenes & intermission screen but does have all levels in it
