Kaiba the Revenge - Breaking Limits (17800 ATK) (Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos)

After several days of experimenting and observing the many decks Kaiba can use in this game, I was able to refine my Shallow Cyber Acid Mill deck and break my old record of 16800 (17100 had I done it right). By using various quirks and bugs with the AI, I was able to narrowly avoid losing with this mostly spell card deck and gave Kaiba a final blow that would be enough to beat him two times over and then some. In this duel I actually had so many cards in my hand I was able to use Rush Recklessly an extra time (card 17 loops back to card 1). Something to note is that if Rush Recklessly is played before Megamorph, it's boost will be removed, and that's why I had to play Megamorph first.

It was great returning to this game so many years later. Hard to believe how far games have come over the years. Though other software has become more efficient and less buggy, the gameplay is still just as great as it was on release day. Unlike modern Yugioh, the combination of cards and larger pool of life points allow for some rather interesting strategies despite having many less cards to choose from. It would be great if Konami would remake the Power of Chaos series and help make it more accessible to everyone that still enjoys the original series.

It certainly can put you at a disadvantage against many types of decks, though it can also make it easier to draw certain cards like Exodia. Kaiba could've won had he been luckier with the coin flip, remembered to use the coin flip after flipping the monster later on, or by using his Imperial Order trap card to stop my spell cards.

Megamorph only doubles the original attack and in this game. If you activate megamorph after using quickspells such as rush recklessly it will not calculate them into the total. This bug does not affect equip cards nor fields cards so you'll get the same attack value no matter what order you activate those cards.

​@@vukmitic3333 I'm using the original disc, but this is not really practical for most that don't already have a copy and to my knowledge Konami never re-released it. I'm sure there's probably somewhere that has this abadonware game online, though I wouldn't be able to link it here as this would just removed if I did.
